&lt;Hiromura&gt; (Kouson)It is one of the villages dotting the southern foothills of Huangshan that still has Ming and Qing dynasty houses, and is the hometown of Anhui merchants.During the Ming and Qing dynasties, many merchants from Anhui amassed great wealth through the trade of salt, tea, ink, and paper. They took their wealth back to their homeland and built fine mansions. The result was a beautiful row of houses with white walls and black tiled roofs, which looked like something out of a Chinese painting. It remains in the present day in a form that has been left behind by the modernization of the city.The largest building in Hong Village is called Chengshi-tang, which is the residence of the Wang family. Hongcun itself is the village of the Wang clan, and ``Chengshitang'' was completed in 1855 during the Qing Dynasty. It is said that the master of the time went to Yangzhou to work and became a successful salt merchant.There are 138 old houses remaining in the village, most of them from the Qing Dynasty.&lt;帯渓&gt; (Tonkei)A town at the southern foot of Huangshan.Located in the southern part of Anhui Province, it has long been an important transportation hub, with Zhejiang Province to the south and Jiangxi Province to the west.Although it is a mountainous region with little farmland, it prospered through the trade of tea from Huangshan. China Huizhou Culture MuseumMany people who come to Huangshan City focus on the sightseeing spots in Huangshan City, but in fact, hidden in Huangshan City, which was once also known as Huizhou, is a museum that is extremely important for learning about Huizhou culture.The China Huizhou Culture Museum opened in 2008.It is the second largest comprehensive museum in Anhui Province, and is a first-class museum in China that can fully reflect the themes of Huizhou culture. Exhibits include pottery, calligraphy and paintings, three Huizhou carvings, bronze ware, etc., and various "intangible cultural heritages" are also on display in the museum.Although the Huizhou Museum is not famous, it can be said that it is a place where you can enjoy the very distinctive Huizhou culture.
