Discover Xi'an's Millennium History: English-Speaking Group Half-Day Tour to the Terracotta Warriors
In the leisurely hours between 8:15 AM and 9:00 AM, your professional guide will warmly meet you in the lobby of your Xi'an city hotel, then accompany you to the millennium-old Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum (commonly known as the Xi'an Terracotta Warriors Museum).
Upon entering the museum, you'll have approximately 2.5 hours to thoroughly appreciate and explore this cultural treasure trove. The museum meticulously displays over 7,000 precious artifacts, all originating from China's Qin Dynasty more than 2,200 years ago. Each piece embodies the wisdom and craftsmanship of ancient artisans, standing as true masterpieces. Among them are lifelike terracotta warriors that silently recount the military might of that era, pottery horses with diverse expressions showcasing the majestic bearing of Qin Dynasty steeds, and numerous exquisitely designed bronze weapons with superb craftsmanship that inspire awe for ancient metallurgical techniques. During your visit, these artifacts will provide deep insights into the legendary life of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. With extraordinary vision and wisdom, he unified all of China, ending prolonged warfare and establishing the first feudal empire in Chinese history, laying a solid foundation for future development. This magnificent mausoleum, meticulously constructed during his lifetime, demonstrates its grand scale and far-sighted planning.
After exploring the fascinating exhibits in the museum, you'll be filled with historical insights and reflections.
After visiting the Terracotta Warriors, the guide will recommend the "Resurrected Legion" performance. Participation is optional at your own expense of 268 RMB per person. If you choose not to attend, we will arrange a dedicated vehicle to safely transport you back to a designated location within Xi'an's Second Ring Road where the tour will conclude.
