Introduction to Jinshanling Great Wall attraction

The Jinshanling Great Wall is located in Luanping County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, 130 kilometers from Beijing, 80 kilometers from Chengde, and 280 kilometers from Mulan Weichang Bashang Grassland.

During the period when Guang served as the general of Jizhen (1569-1582), it was built and built. It is the essence of the Great Wall. The Jinshanling Great Wall starts from Longyukou in the west and ends at Wangjing Tower in the east. It is 10.5 kilometers long. There are 9 passes of different sizes, 67 enemy towers and 3 beacon towers along the line. It has the characteristics of wide vision, dense enemy towers, unique landscape, exquisite architectural art and sound military defense system. The horse-blocking wall, barrier wall, unicorn shadow wall, text brick wall and general tower defense system are the only scenery in the Great Wall. 1. For hotel pick-up, if you stay in a Hutong hotel in a narrow lane, please walk a few steps and wait for our car/mini bus on a main street), Pickup is available for hotels situated within the 4th Ring Road of Beijing.

After arrival, walk to the visitor center, take a rest, and then take the shuttle bus to the main entrance (middle gate) of the attraction.

1. [2.5 hours] The Essential Great Wall. Enter from Mid Gate - walk alone the walker‘s path - to the Brick Crenel, start hiking from Brick Crenel to Shalingkou, after visit from [Shalingkou] follow the tourist walker's path return to the Mid Gate.

2. [3.5 hours] Great Wall of photographers. Enter from Mid Gate - walk alone the walker‘s path - to the Brick Crenel, start hiking from Brick Crenel to [Xiaojinshan Tower] , after visit, from Xiaojinshan take oneway cable car back to the Mid Gate.

3. [4.5 hours] The Must-sees of the Great Wall. Enter from Mid Gate - walk alone the walker‘s path - to the Brick Crenel, start hiking from Brick Crenel to East [Five-windows Tower] , after visit, from [Five-windows Tower] follow the tourist walker's path to the East Gate, then take shuttle bus back to the Mid Gate.

After visit , please return to the designated meeting-point/Tourist center/Bus before the departure time. 

You will pass through a checkpoint on the way back to Beijing, please bring your passport with you. 

To ensure a 5.5-hour tour of the Great Wall. Please note that the return trip time may be slightly adjusted depending on arrival time and traffic conditions.

The Jinshanling Great Wall is undoubtedly the most beautiful section of the Great Wall in China. There are almost no people on the Jinshanling Great Wall. While enjoying the natural beauty, you also need better physical strength. The whole journey on the Great Wall takes about 4 hours. The journey to the Great Wall is also quite long. It's near Beijing, but in Hebei Province. The one-way trip takes about 2 hours, and the Mutianyu Great Wall is 1.5 hours. The return trip may also be delayed due to checkpoints. Please be aware of this. 

But when you reach the top of the Jinshanling Great Wall and see the stunning scenery, you will feel that all these difficulties are worth it.
