After picking you up from your Hotel or accommodation in Johannesburg, your Guide will provide you with a quick pre-departure tour briefing before heading to Soweto. Soweto is the abbreviation of Southwest Town, 24 kilometers southwest of Johannesburg. It is a world-famous black town and a famous tourist attraction in South Africa. On the way to Soweto, you'll pass the National Football Stadium City, which hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 World Cup. Then go to Constitution Hill, where Mandela was imprisoned during his 27 years in prison, and where India's Mahatma Gandhi was also imprisoned.
