Sample itinerary (subject to change): Departing from Inverness, we'll head south along the shores of Loch Ness toward Invermoriston. Stretching 24 miles long and over 700 feet deep, Loch Ness is famous for sightings of the Loch Ness Monster (affectionately called "Nessie"). Located just 30 miles from Inverness, we'll make a brief stop at Invermoriston where you might catch a glimpse of this legendary creature! After exploring Loch Ness, our Skye adventure continues to Eilean Donan Castle - one of Scotland's most photographed castles. Perched on a small island where three sea lochs meet, we'll explore this iconic fortress and its surroundings. We'll then cross the Skye Bridge to Portree, a charming harbor village that serves as Skye's capital, nestled between dramatic cliffs and rolling hills. This picturesque setting makes an ideal lunch spot with lovely views of fishing boats. The afternoon features Skye's spectacular sights including Kilt Rock's stunning coastal vistas, Lealt Falls' cascading waters, and the majestic Old Man of Storr formation. After soaking in Skye's breathtaking landscapes, we'll pause at Strome Viewpoint on our return journey for photos of Loch Carron before continuing back to Inverness, concluding your memorable 1-day tour of Skye.

2. What should I bring?

We want you to have as much time as possible to get off and walk around, so we recommend bringing warm and/or waterproof clothing, wearing comfortable walking shoes, and packing sunscreen or a hat on sunny days. Don't forget your camera to capture all the beautiful scenery and wildlife you'll encounter along the way! Since hot food is not allowed on our bus, you may also want to bring a cold packed lunch to make the most of your time at each stop - this can be especially time-saving during busy months!
