We purchased the tickets only without a tour guide. We took a taxi and it took about 30mins from city center. It’s a very fun experience and the pandas are so cute!! Will strongly recommend anyone who are visiting Chengdu, do visit the Panda Research Base.

Half-Day Tour Itinerary (Duration: 4H)
8:00 - 8:30 (13:00-13:30) : Hotel Pick-up
Our friendly English-speaking guide and driver will meet you in the lobby of your Chengdu hotel.
We will depart promptly for the Chengdu Panda Base.Enjoy a comfortable drive to the base located on the outskirts of the city.
Your guide will provide an interesting introduction to pandas and the base's history.
8:30 - 11:30 (13:30-16:30) : Panda Base Exploration
Follow your knowledgeable guide to the most rewarding viewing areas.
See adult pandas munching on bamboo, playing, and lounging in their spacious enclosures.
Visit the adorable Panda Nursery to see the youngest cubs (seasonal availability).
Keep an eye out for the charming and equally cute Red Pandas.
11:30 - 12:00 (16:30-17:00) : Return Journey
After an unforgettable morning with the pandas, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel in Chengdu.
Family-Friendly Customization: For families with young children or elderly guests, we will design a relaxed route with more breaks, prioritize elevator access, and focus on the most accessible and engaging panda villas.

If a cancellation request is submitted before 18:00 1 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 50% will be charged.
A fee of 100% will be charged for cancellations requested before 23:59 on the day of date of use.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
