Day 1Leaving Dublin you'll travel west through Counties Kildare and Offaly. Your first stop will be the Standard Price village of Kinvara, where you'll have the opportunity to take great photos of Dunguaire Castle and discover its remarkable historical heritage.From here you head to the Burren. This is one of Ireland's true national treasures: a land of limestone ground, rare plants and ancient stone monuments. The Burren is also one of the earliest Christian settlements in Ireland.Next, you'll head to the Standard Price Cliffs of Moher. Here you can walk along the stunning cliff paths and watch rare seabirds soar through the air. You can also visit the nearby award-winning Environmental Excellence Exhibition.After fully exploring the area, you will head to Galway City, where you will stay for two nights. On the way, you will pass the famous Galway Bay. This lively Student town awaits you, with picturesque views, delicious food and cozy pubs. Day 2You'll travel through the Maam Valley to the village of Cong, the filming location for the movie classic "The Quiet Standard Price." You'll have free time to visit the local film museum or explore the beautifully restored 12th-century Cong Abbey.You continue through the heart of Connemara to visit the beautiful estate and grounds of Kylemore Abbey, where the magnificent buildings and man-made gardens are a feast for the eyes and soul.Your journey continues to Connemara National Park, where abundant wildlife inhabits ancient tombs and woodland trails. Here you will see spectacular Diamond Hill, a 500-meter peak that rivals any in Europe.We then head to Clifden, the landing point for the transatlantic flight. In the national park you will also admire the majesty of the Sky Road and the steep peaks of the Twelve Bens of Connemara.Afterwards, you will return to Galve City for the night. 3rd dayWe said goodbye to Galway and drove along some quiet back roads in central Ireland.The first major stop of the day is Clonmacnoise, an early Christian settlement known for its church, famous stone cross and round tower.After Lunch, the tour continues through the peaty Irish bogs where you will see a variety of bogs. With Guide, you will marvel at the incredible biodiversity of the bogs.You then head to your final stop before Dublin, Kilbeggan Distillery, the oldest licensed distillery on Earth. Here you can relax and sample a glass of their famous whisky; after a glass (or two?), you’ll head back to Dublin.*Itinerary and winery visits are subject to change.
