Leo's private tours is definitely the company to book with for Forbidden City. Our amazing guide Lilia, made it feel like being shown around by a friend and provided great facts and stories without overloading us with facts. Lilia takes amazing photos as well. We would definitely have had a worse experience if we didn't utilise Leo's private tours and have Lilia as our guide. Highly recommend you book with them and get the best experience of such an amazing unforgettable place that is the Forbidden City!!

Recommended. We went during the peak period, so we were afraid that we couldn't get a ticket. But with this package we got the ticket within 1 day of booking. Great experience. Just scan your passport and enter.

The tour guide with Lilia is amazing! She is really kind and provides a lot of information. She is also available to support with great tips on where to eat/what to do next. Plus, you will not leave the place without any pictures; she is a great photographer too! Really really suggested taking this tour guide for the Forbidden City!

Option 1 : Ticket only ( No Guide )
If you only need tickets, please select the “Ticket Only” option. This option does not include a guide, and you will enter the site on your own with your passport.
We will book your ticket 7 days in advance. Please make sure you enter the correct passport number when booking — this is very important. On the day of your visit, simply bring your passport to the entrance for verification. (Entry is available after 11:00 AM.)
Option 2 : Private Tour ( Guide + Ticket)
This is a private tour, where the guide will meet you in your hotel lobby (hotels within Beijing's 4th Ring Road).
- Meeting Time: 12:00 PM
- This tour costs more than the group tour but can be booked as early as 2 days in advance.
- Tickets must be collected from the ticket office, unless you book at least 8 days in advance, in which case we can purchase the tickets for you in advance.
Recommendation:
We strongly recommend booking at least 8 days in advance to secure tickets and avoid extra steps.

Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 12:00, 8 day(s) prior to the date of use, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted before 17:00 5 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 70% will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted before 17:00 3 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 80% will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted before 17:00 1 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 90% will be charged.
A fee of 100% will be charged for cancellations requested before 23:59 on the day of date of use.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
