These items are commercially laundered after each use. We also have a range of swimwear for sale, subject to availability.Our bathing area has a range of changing facilities with showers and body wash available for use during your experience. You will be provided with a portable container for your belongings which can be safely stored in our specially designed cabin.The chemical makeup of our mud and water will stain most jewelry, especially silver. After bathing, your pores will release minerals for 24 hours and we recommend not wearing jewelry during this time.Temperature range is 37 – 41°C, depending on the season and the temperature of the day. For health and safety reasons, 20 minutes Standard Price per day is recommended.Mud baths are suitable for ages 3+, while sulfur baths are suitable for ages 6 months+. All Child under 15 years of age must be supervised by a Standard Price at all times. We recommend that Child avoid Time baths and drink water frequently. Hell's Gate is located outside Rotorua city centre. From the city, just head east on SH30. About 5 minutes past the airport you will turn right towards Whakatane. The Gate of Hell is 3 kilometers down the road. For your convenience, we also offer a shuttle service that can pick you up from various stops in Rotorua city centre.
