Tour Group Thoughts: This was our first tour group for our trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide was Icy, who was very informative and allowed us to understand more about the different dynasties in China and the histories of the Forbidden city. There was some solo exploration time that was dedicated during the tour and some breaks in between for snack / drink time.  Environment: The environment itself was busy as it was close to school holidays (end of june / early july) , therefore there is more crowds and less quiet time to few different relics without wait time. In some instances it was very packed within the treasure museum because it was quiet small and everyone was crowded within the building at the same time. There was dining options such as small cafes and vendors within the Forbidden city.  Surrounding area: There is the popular market around the corner for more food options and because its located at the centre, you can find accomodation, shops etc
