By taking the MuBus, you can benefit from no-reservation entry and no-fee shuttle tickets within the scenic area. You will have 4-5 hours ample time to tour the Great Wall. Board your bus in central Beijing and enjoy the scenic ride to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. At the site, you have plenty of time to explore the ancient stone-and-earth barricade.
Mutianyu is one of the most picturesque wall sections. It has been fully restored, so you are able to get a great idea how it looked in ancient times. The surrounding countryside is also famous for its fragrant pines and cypress trees.
