Option 1: Full-day Chengdu Panda Base & Leshan Giant Buddha Group Tour
This tour is designed for a long but incredibly rewarding day, showcasing two of Sichuan's most famous treasures.
Detailed Itinerary& Suggested Timing:
07:35 AM - 07:45 AM: Meet at meeting point
07:40 AM - 11:00 AM: Transfer to Chengdu Panda Base & Panda Base Visit
After gathering at the meeting point, head to the Panda Base.
Arrive at the Panda Base after 40 mins drive and begin the morning panda visit. Stroll through the beautiful park-like facility to observe adult pandas munching on bamboo, playful juveniles, and the adorable, tiny panda cubs (in the nursery, if available).
11:00 AM - 1:30 PM:Transfer to Leshan
Relax during the approximately 2.5-hour drive to Leshan City.
01:30 PM - 02:30 PM: Lunch Time (At your own expense)
Enjoy a quick and tasty local Sichuan lunch at a selected restaurant near the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area.
03:00 PM - 05:00 PM: Marvel at the Giant Buddha
Arrive at Leshan. We recommend the *hiking route* to fully appreciate the scale and artistry of the Buddha. Walk along the cliff-side path, descend the famous "Nine-Bend Plank Walk", and stand at the feet of the 71-meter tall statue for a truly awe-inspiring experience.
05:00 PM - 07:30 PM: Return Journey to Chengdu ; End tour at Chengdu Tianfu Square
Return drive to Chengdu, with an expected arrival at Chengdu downtown around 7:30 PM. Finally end the tour at Tianfu Square.
Option 2: Half-day Chengdu Panda Base Group Tour
This compact morning itinerary is perfectly designed to visit the pandas at their most active and avoid the afternoon crowds.

07:40 AM - 08:30 AM: Meet at meeting point &Transfer to Chengdu Panda Base
08:30 AM - 11:00 AM : Exclusive Panda Viewing
11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Return Journey to Chengdu & End tour at Tianfu Square

1.The group tour's visit to the Leshan Giant Buddha is hiking to see the statue on foot, NOT a boat tour.
2.Shuttle bus in Chengdu Panda Base(30/PAX) is NOT included in this tour.
3.The travel time is for reference only, and the actual time may vary due to certain circumstances.
4.The assembly time is from 7:35 to 7:45. The tour guide will depart from the meeting point for the Panda Base at 7:50. If you fail to arrive at the meeting point by 7:50, please make your own way to the Panda Base.
