Visa processing time
Processing time is 4-8 business days (estimated processing time).
The estimated processing time for visas is calculated according to the rules above. Weekends, public holidays, and embassy/consulate holidays are not included in working days.
Mailed materials received:
- If the package is signed for before 9:00 AM on the 1st, the working days will be calculated from the 1st.
- If the package is signed for after 9:00 AM on the 1st, the working days will be calculated from the 2nd.
- The delivery time is based on the tracking information from the courier company.
Document processing time:
- The processing time for materials is calculated from the date of receipt.
- Packages signed for on Saturday and Sunday are considered to have been signed for on the following Monday.

Passport mailing requirements
Please mail your original passport according to the following requirements, based on your specific circumstances:
Chinese-born applicants applying for a Chinese visa for the first time.
- Please mail: Original of your last Chinese passport + Original of your current US passport + Screenshot of your order.
Applicants who have previously obtained a Chinese visa but whose visa has expired.
- Please mail: your current U.S. passport (original) + order screenshot.
Applicants who have previously obtained a Chinese visa and whose visa is still valid
- You need to mail: your current original U.S. passport + original U.S. passport containing the Chinese visa page + a screenshot of your order.
Applicants who previously held a Chinese visa and are now applying for a visa again with a newly issued foreign passport.
- Please mail the following: your current foreign passport (original), a photocopy of the photo page of your old foreign passport, a photocopy of any previously obtained Chinese visa, and, if the names on your old and new passports are different, an official name change certificate.
Supplementary materials for third-country citizens in the United States
- Applicants who are third-country citizens in the United States should also provide copies of their proof of legal stay or residence in the U.S., including but not limited to: green card, U.S. visa page, I-20, and I-94 forms.
Please ensure that the passport you send is a genuine and valid original. If the materials do not meet the requirements, it may affect the visa processing time.
Special Note for Applicants of Chinese Descent Born Outside of China
If the applicant is of Chinese descent and was born outside of China, in addition to the standard visa application materials, the following materials are usually required (subject to the specific circumstances of each case):
Birth Certificate
- Original birth certificate
- One copy of the birth certificate.
Nationality determination related materials (provided depending on the specific case)
- Photocopies of both parents' valid passports
- Photocopies of parents' foreign permanent residency documents
- Parents' citizenship certificate
- Photocopies of the passports or permanent residence cards held by the applicant's parents at the time of birth

If your situation is unusual, such as being a military member, having lost your identification, or having access records to sensitive areas, please contact customer service for confirmation before sending out your application materials.
Special provisions for children's materials
- If the child was born in the United States and at least one of the parents is a U.S. green card holder or citizen, we can help with the Chinese visa application.
- If neither parent is a green card holder or a U.S. citizen at the time of the child's birth, the parents will need to obtain a travel document for the child. Please consult customer service for details.

1. The Chinese individual tourist visa is designed to facilitate travelers with purely tourist purposes. Applicants with purposes such as visiting relatives, friends, business, inspection, exchange, visits, exhibitions, etc. should select the business or family visit package and provide the corresponding materials. Otherwise, once discovered, it will leave a bad record at the embassy or consulate, affecting future visa applications.
2. Please read the visa details carefully and prepare your documents strictly according to the details. We will only approve your documents after receiving and reviewing them. Due to recent stricter checks by the embassy, they may request additional documents to help you obtain your visa smoothly. Please cooperate by submitting any supplementary documents. 3. Due to the complexity of Chinese visa application materials and the strict review process, the success of visa application depends on the review by our staff. We may request additional materials depending on the client's situation and reserve the right to return applications that do not meet the requirements or contain false information.
4. During the visa processing period, the Chinese Embassy will not accept passport withdrawal applications for any reason. Please plan your travel accordingly and wait for the result of your Chinese tourist visa before making arrangements to visit other countries or applying for visas for other countries, so as not to delay your other overseas trips.
5. The visa validity period and number of days of stay published in the visa application materials are for reference only and are not legal commitments. Everything is subject to the content of the visa issued by the visa officer.
6. The embassy reserves the right to request applicants to provide supplementary materials or to require applicants to attend an interview at the embassy.
7. For all visa applications, a visa fee is incurred once the application is processed. This fee is non-refundable regardless of the visa outcome or whether the applicant uses the visa. In other words, the visa fee will still be charged even if the visa is refused, as some consulates do charge a fee for visa refusals.
8. Special Note: After the visa results are returned, your passport and other original documents will be sent by courier. By purchasing this service, you authorize us to entrust a third party to provide courier services. You have acknowledged and accepted all the terms, rights, and obligations of the third-party company (courier company). The third-party company (courier carrier) will be responsible for any loss, damage, or other issues that may arise during courier service. We will not be liable for any such losses or compensation.
9. Please ensure you obtain your visa before booking your travel arrangements (airfares, train tickets, etc.), hotel, meals, local tours, or confirming payment for these services. Otherwise, you will be solely responsible for any losses or consequences arising therefrom.
10. To ensure timely processing of your documents, please mail them as soon as possible during peak season. If you deliver them in person, it will only be for collection purposes and will not be reviewed on the spot.
11. We will conduct a preliminary review of your visa application materials, including the items and quantity, in strict accordance with the requirements of the embassy/consulate and based on our years of experience. Our preliminary review only aims to ensure that the application meets the submission requirements to the greatest extent possible, but we cannot guarantee that a visa will be issued. Furthermore, it is possible that after you have submitted the relevant materials, you may be required to submit additional documents to increase the chances of visa issuance. We recommend that you cooperate in providing these documents; otherwise, you will be solely responsible for any consequences or losses incurred.
12. If the embassy/consulate or visa issuing authority refuses to process your application, requests supplementary documents, or if the embassy/consulate is temporarily closed for other reasons, we guarantee to notify you as soon as we become aware of the situation. If the embassy/consulate or visa issuing authority can provide written documentation, we will also promptly forward it to you. However, based on past experience, most embassies/consulates or visa issuing authorities do not issue written documentation; please be aware of this and understand.
13. The published consular fees are subject to the fees published by the consulate. The actual consular fees may vary due to adjustments in consular fees or exchange rate fluctuations when submitting visa applications. Therefore, the amount payable by the applicant is based on the amount paid to the consulate. Any difference must be paid by the applicant before processing.
