Reviews/Trip Moments

Reviews: South shore day trip from Reykjavík

This trip was run by Reykjavik Excursions via the Tui App. The guide and experience was so much better than the Tui trips we went on. The guide so much more professional and knowledgeable than the Tui guides. We travel extensively and have a great deal of experience with Tui trips but in Iceland these fell short of our expectations.

I joined the tour on the first night after arriving in Iceland. Luckily, it was a beautiful sunny day, so I was able to see the Northern Lights! The hot chocolate was delicious, too! If I had to say something negative, the bus was about 10 minutes late (which is normal overseas, so I guess it's within the realm of acceptability), and since buses from various tour companies stop at the bus stop where the tour was held, you have to make sure which bus is for your tour.
