• Citizens of mainland China: Please use your ID card to purchase tickets and enter the park.
• Residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan: Please use your "Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents", "Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents" or "Residence Permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residents" to purchase tickets and enter the park.
Foreign travelers: Please make an appointment using your passport or Foreign Permanent Resident Identity Card.
[Rules for Child Tickets]
• The “Child Ticket” for this product is applicable to Chinese citizens (including residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) under the age of 18.
Important Note: Foreign children are not eligible for child ticket discounts. Please be sure to place your order for them at the "adult" ticket price.
• Error correction mechanism: If you mistakenly select "child" to place an order for a foreign child, you will need to pay the price difference (20 yuan/person) after the ticket is successfully issued.
[Important Information Regarding Admission Time at the Palace Museum]
To provide a better visiting experience, the Palace Museum implements a real-name, time-slot ticketing system. Please be sure to plan your trip in advance and enter according to the time slot on your purchased ticket.
• Morning session: Ticket check-in and entry time is from 8:30 to 12:00.
Afternoon session: Ticket check-in and entry time is from 11:00 to the latest entry time.
• Latest entry time (all visitors must enter the park before this time):
Peak season (April 1st - October 31st): 16:00
Off-season (November 1st - March 31st of the following year): 15:30
