Private Tour: Calligraphy & Dumpling Cooking Class with Local Market Exploration

Your professional tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel at 9:00 am or 12:00 noon. ( Or any reasonable time based on your requests ) Your experienced guide will take you to the Hutong area which is nearby the local food market by private vehicle

It will be a very interesting experience to learn those Chinese cooking ingredients and fresh vegetables to a trainee. After your discovering, you will walk to the homestay family for knowing about local people's life while learning how to make authentic Chinese dumplings in detail, such as how to make different kinds of filling with different ingredients and make the nice shapes of dumplings, etc. Please feel free to ask any question about it, because the host and hostess are very hospitable to everyone, most of them are retired from the job. You are welcome to take pictures in their house. After roughly one hour of learning, they will cook local delicacy meal for you with dumplings they make, little Chinese snacks before you start to have your delicious lunch or dinner with one glass of soft drinks or beer for each one, and you will enjoy Chinese chopsticks very much to a trainee.

When lunch or dinner is finished, your professional calligraphy teacher will come to the homestay family to teach you how to make a handsome traditional front from a cross, press down, brush hooks and other forms, you will spend roughly one hour with your private teacher to know more about traditional Chinese Culture. After the private tour, you will be dropped off a back hotel.
