Living Green Elephant Sanctuary
Hiking itinerary (Duration: 11 – 12 hours)
07:00 – 07:45 Pick-up from your hotel or accommodation
Approximately 1.5 hours' drive through beautiful countryside
Arrive at the Living Green Elephant Sanctuary, where you will receive an introduction about our sanctuary and change into traditional northern attire.
Meet our elephants. You can feed and interact with them in their natural habitat while learning about their history and behavior.
Walk to the river with the elephants and bathe them
Enjoy delicious local meals and bid farewell to the elephants.
After approximately 30 minutes by car, arrive at Doi Inthanon National Park to explore the slopes and summit of Thailand's highest peak.
Enjoy the cool breeze and mist at Thailand's highest peak.
Visit the twin towers showcasing the region's rich cultural heritage, and explore the botanical garden featuring a variety of colorful flowering plants.
Embark on a hiking adventure from the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail, where you'll encounter rare wildlife, lush terraced fields, refreshing waterfalls, and visit an organic Karen hill tribe coffee farm.
17:30 – 19:00 Depart from Doi Inthanon and take approximately 1.5 hours by car to return to Chiang Mai.

Bamboo Rafting (Duration: 9 – 10 hours)
08:00 – 08:30 Pick-up from your hotel or accommodation
Approximately 1.5-hour ride through beautiful countryside areas
Upon arrival at the Thai Green Elephant Sanctuary, you will receive an introduction about the sanctuary and change into traditional northern attire.
Meet our elephants. You can feed and interact with elephants in their natural habitat while learning about their history and behavior. Take a walk with the elephants through the tropical forest.
1 Enjoy delicious local cuisine
After approximately 15 minutes by vehicle, you'll arrive at the bamboo raft launching point. Each raft is accompanied by a river guide who will ensure your safe journey downstream.
Experience bamboo rafting on the tranquil Wang River and immerse yourself in the beauty of the jungle
Return to the elephant sanctuary and enjoy more time with the elephants
Walk to the river with the elephants and bathe them
Change clothes and say goodbye to the elephants
15:30 – 17:00 Depart from the Green Elephant Sanctuary and ride approximately 1.5 hours back to Chiang Mai
