The highlight of our China trip! This day tour was perfect from start to finish. We were introduced to our guide and driver via WeChat, and our guide Kenneth contacted us right away to arrange the details. We were the only two participants and even started earlier to visit the Wild Goose Pagoda. We’ve done several tours on our trip, but none compared to this one – mostly thanks to Kenneth! He’s like a walking history book and can answer anything. He also suggested an optional 30min calligraphy class (10 RMB p.p.), which ended up being one of the best parts of the day – if you get the chance highly recommend! 😍 We finished with the outdoor show The Song of Everlasting Sorrow – even without Mandarin, it was easy to follow, there isn’t much dialogue anyway, and Kenneth explained the plot to us beforehand! If you’re short on time and just want a stressfree day, this tour is an absolute must. This isn’t an ad — just a heartfelt recommendation. Thank you so much Kenneth! ❣️

Product details

▲ Step into the ancient heart of China with a day trip to the Terracotta Warriors—an awe-inspiring army of over 8,000 life-sized clay soldiers guarding Emperor Qin Shi Huang's tomb for 2,200 years. Marvel at their intricate details and ponder the mysteries of China's first emperor. This UNESCO site is a must-see for history lovers, offering a tangible link to the Qin Dynasty's ambition and artistry.

▲ Cap your day with The Song of Everlasting Sorrow, a mesmerizing open-air performance at Huaqing Palace. Set against Tang Dynasty hot springs, this poetic dance drama brings to life Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei's tragic love story through stunning visuals, vibrant costumes, and haunting music. A perfect blend of culture and spectacle, it's an unforgettable finale to your Xi'an adventure—history by day, art by night!

▲ In the pottery workshop in Lintong, Xi'an, it is no longer a fantasy to go back two thousand years. Roll up your sleeves, and the rough touch of Lishan clay will flow from your palms into your blood. Bronze molds, bamboo carving knives and Qin armor pattern replica tools are waiting for your creation. From kneading clay to shaping and carving, the 45-degree bamboo knife is used to carve out the charm of thousands of people and thousands of faces. This experience is not a simple hand-made experience, but a cross-time and space collaboration with an unknown craftsman two thousand years ago - your fingerprints will be forever sealed deep in the clay, becoming a contemporary footnote to the revival of the glory of the Qin Dynasty.

▲ Located at the foot of Mount Li in Xi'an, Huaqing Palace is a historic site famed for its natural hot springs and ancient ruins. For over 3,000 years, its warm waters have attracted emperors and royalty, making it one of China's earliest royal spa gardens. The palace reached its peak during the Tang Dynasty under Emperor Xuanzong, who built a luxurious complex here for his beloved consort, Yang Guifei. Their legendary romance is central to the palace's story. The restored Lotus Flower Pool and other structures reflect this golden age of art and culture. Beyond this romance, the site witnessed a major modern event: the 1936 Xi'an Incident, where General Chiang Kai-shek was detained, altering China's modern history.
