The one-day tour allowed me to easily visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Nara Park. The entire tour included shuttle bus service, allowing for rest on the bus and leisurely exploration at each stop. Our guide, Ms. Qiu Hong, was very friendly, providing explanations of the culture and history, and recommending food and photo spots at each attraction. Thanks to her, I was able to see the deer and the sunset over Wakakusa Mountain – so much easier than traveling independently!★

We signed up the afternoon of the previous day. The tour fee was over 300 yuan for a small group of nine people, which I found to be quite reasonable. The itinerary was well-paced and not rushed.
Our driver and guide, Nick Lee, was very approachable and attentive. The car was clean and odorless. Disposing of trash in Japan is a challenge, so we had trash bags on board. It rained that day, so we had transparent umbrellas, which made for beautiful photos. The guides were on board, spoken in both Mandarin and English, taking care of the different group members. At each attraction, Nick would send us a private message with the location and time.
Sanzen-in Temple was a pleasant surprise during the trip. It was peaceful and relaxing. I loved it. The water divination at Kifune Shrine was very interesting, and I got a very auspicious fortune. Overall, I was very satisfied.★

This tour, booked through Ctrip, was definitely the most enjoyable part of the entire trip! I never expected to have such a comfortable private car experience in Japan! The tour guide was incredibly helpful, picking us up from the hotel and providing detailed explanations of each attraction. This is something I could never experience on my own, and it gave me a much deeper understanding of Kyoto's customs and culture. I'd definitely book this tour again next time. The service was excellent, and I had a wonderful time!
