itinerary: 1. We start our 2.5 hour walking tour from our office (Rudolfskai 38, 5020 Salzburg)

2. The walking Tour is followed by a lunch at a traditional austrian restaurant
3. After your lunch we will pick you up for your Sound on Music themed van tour which includes:
-A stop at the magnificent Palace of Leopoldskron – one of the two mansions used as the Von Trapp home and the place where the children famously fell into the lake.
-A stop at Hellbrunn Palace, including a visit to the famous Gazebo.
-A drive through picturesque countryside as we make our way to the Salzkammergut/Lake District.
Stop at the viewing point above St. Gilgen with a gorgeous view over the Wolfgangsee (lake Wolfgang).
- A visit to the parish church of Mondsee – walk down the aisle of the iconic Sound of Music Wedding Church plus a bit of extra time to spend on your own
4.) We will return to Salzburg around 6:00 pm where we will end the tour in front of Mirabell Palace
highlights: This year we celebrate the 60th anniversary of "The Sound of Music", the award winning movie from 1965. Isn't this a perfect opportunity to spend a whole ""Sound of Music Day"" in and around the city the movie was set: in Salzburg!

Your tour guide will lead you to the locations Maria and the Children sang the songs you've known ever since childhood - you will walk through the Old Town and discover it's beautiful sights while listening to catchy stories about the "Sound Of Music" and Salzburg.

Afterwards our minivan will take you to an traditional austrian restaurant where you can have a seat and enjoy a lunch break. Feeling well fed and content we will head out to the lovely lake district, widely renowned for its breathtaking countryside.

Admiring strikingly beautiful lakes like Fuschlsee and Wolfgangsee we will at last arrive at the village of Mondsee - here you will have the chance to walk the isle of the famous "Sound Of Music" Wedding Church, before we return to Salzburg around 6pm and this unforgettable ""Sound Of Music Day"" will draw to a close.
