Sample itinerary:
Departing at 7:15 AM from central Paris near the Eiffel Tower, a comfortable and spacious air-conditioned bus will take you through the scenic Normandy countryside. You'll arrive at Mont Saint-Michel around noon, where you can enjoy lunch at nearby restaurants at your leisure.
Hike around the base of Mont Saint-Michel island and ascend to the summit on your own to visit the 8th-century Benedictine abbey. You can also explore the abbey's cloister, solemn refectory, and gardens that extend over the sea.
Next, you can freely explore the attractions along the city walls and circular walkways. You can also take the opportunity to sample various local delicacies on the mountain (such as the famous Breton crepes), browse souvenir shops, participate in village activities, and if time permits, visit several museums.
Depart Mont Saint-Michel at 4:30 PM and return to the Paris meeting point at around 9:45 PM.
