How to use
[Kind Reminder]
• It is recommended to install the eSIM on the day of departure. If installed within the coverage area, the validity period will start immediately.
• Please ensure a stable internet connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi) before installation.
• Enable “Data Roaming” upon arrival at your destination.
 
[Step 1: Install eSIM]
Method A: One-Click Installation (Recommended)
• Open the Trip.com App → “Account” → “All Bookings” → “Install”.
Method B: QR Code or Manual Installation
Scan the QR code. If this is not possible, manually enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code.
• iPhone: Settings > Cellular / Mobile Service > Add eSIM
• Android: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM
 
[Step 2: Activate Upon Arrival]
① Enable Plan: Turn this eSIM “On” in Settings.
② Switch Data Source: Set this eSIM as the default for mobile data; disable any VPNs or profiles.
③ Enable Roaming: Turn on “Data Roaming” and wait 1–3 minutes for the connection.
 
[Troubleshooting: Manual APN Settings]
1. If there is no internet connection or hotspot, please configure the APN manually.
2. Path:
• iPhone: Settings > Cellular / Mobile Service > Mobile Data Network
• Android: Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Access Point Names (APN)
3. Enter APN:
APN: mobile.three.com.hk
4. Save the settings and restart the device.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
This product cannot be canceled after activation.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note

[eSIM Requirements]  

Device must support eSIM functionality: Dial *#06# on the dialing screen. If EID is shown, the device supports eSIM. If no EID is displayed, eSIM cannot be used.  

Device must be unlocked: Confirm with the carrier whether the device is locked to a specific network. Please ensure the device meets these requirements before purchase for proper eSIM usage.


[Setting up eSIM]  

Please install and activate the eSIM after arriving at the destination while connected to the network. Installing the eSIM in a non-destination country/region may cause the eSIM to become invalid or cause usage time to be calculated prematurely.  

If installation issues occur, please refer to the usage guide.


[Enable Data Roaming]  

Ensure the "Data Roaming" option is enabled for the eSIM.


[Network Information]  

Signal quality may be affected by factors such as location, terrain, building obstructions, number of users, and weather. Actual connectivity depends on the local carrier's coverage. If 5G is unavailable, the device will automatically connect to 4G/LTE.


[Hotspot Sharing]  

Hotspot sharing is supported, but due to device differences, it cannot be guaranteed that all devices will be able to share.


[Do not delete eSIM after installation]  

A QR Code can only be used on one device. After installation, it will be bound to that device and cannot be transferred to another device.
