The tour begins at the geographical centre of Paris, in front of the cathedral of Notre-Dame. You will learn about this history of this incredible building before exploring some of the areas around Notre-Dame to find evidence of Roman and Dark Age Paris.
We will cross several of the bridges linking the Île de la Cité to the Right and Left Bank as we discover stories about the people and events that have shaped Parisian history.
Visit Place du Châtelet and see evidence of the Revolution and the rebuilding of Paris during the 19th Century.
On route you will pass the iconic landmarks such as the Conciergerie, Sainte-Chapelle, and Pont-Neuf.
The last section of the tour will take you through the courtyards of the Louvre and into the Tuileries Gardens.
Along the way you will get some incredible photo opportunities as well as learning about over 2,000 years of history. Hear stories of war, religion, revolution, commoners, and kings that have left a lasting mark on the city and still live on in the culture and fabric of the place you visit today.
