▲ Tiaoshi Coasts (Tiaoshi Bus Stop) Heading towards Shimen along Danjin Highway, where mountain cliffs meet the sea, the coastline stretches for dozens of kilometers dotted with boulders of various sizes. White waves crash against the shore, and during autumn and winter, the ever-changing clouds over the North Coast create a breathtaking view at Tiaoshi Coasts, attracting countless visitors. Whether enjoying afternoon tea at a nearby café or strolling along the coast with the sea breeze, visitors can admire the stunning scenery. Before Danjin Highway was built, rough waves blocked travelers, forcing locals and merchants to wait for low tide and leap between boulders—a perilous journey that gave Tiaoshi Coasts its name. The smooth boulders along the coast originated from volcanic rocks ejected by Mount Datun tens of thousands of years ago. Through landslides, wave erosion, and the shaping force of northeast monsoons, they formed this unique volcanic coastal landscape—a perfect spot for travelers to pause, connect with the coast, and savor moments of tranquility.

▲ Yehliu Geopark: Located on a cape extending from the Datun Mountain range into the sea, its turtle-like shape earned it the nickname "Yehliu Turtle." Shaped by wave erosion, rock weathering, and crustal movements, it features stunning formations like sea caves, candle-shaped rocks, mushroom rocks, and tofu rocks. Internationally renowned landmarks include the Queen's Head, Fairy Shoe, and Candle Stand Rock. The "flame" of Candle Stand Rock consists of hard nodules surrounded by intricate ring-shaped grooves. Yehliu is not only a famous tourist destination in Taiwan but also a natural classroom of geological wonders, showcasing nature's awe-inspiring craftsmanship!

▲ Shifen Old Street: Located in Pingxi District, New Taipei City, this charming town stretches along the Keelung River Valley following the Pingxi Railway Line. The unique integration of train tracks with the old street creates the novel experience of "trains passing by your doorstep," attracting numerous film and TV productions. Though coal mining has ceased, the old street remains vibrant with popular snack shops and sky lantern craft stores. Visitors can write postcards with the phrase "Perfect Happiness" or pen their wishes on colorful sky lanterns, with shop owners guiding the lantern release and assisting with photos. Releasing a sky lantern to make a wish while soaking in the town's rustic charm makes this a beloved destination for international travelers!

▲ Golden Waterfall: Located beside Jinshui Road in Shuiliandong, Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Golden Waterfall is accessible by driving from Dongding Road onto Jinshui Road, where golden-hued rocks can be seen along the stream. As you approach the waterfall, the sight of rushing water cascading over the golden rocks comes into view. Similar to Yin Yang Sea, Golden Waterfall is one of nature's exquisite creations. The Jiufen area receives abundant rainfall, and the accumulated ores contain "iron sulfide minerals," which are exposed or seep into the ground with rainwater. These minerals occasionally gather and flow with water, oxidizing along their path to form thick rust deposits, creating the famous view of the Jinguashi area. Towering beside the waterfall is Mount Dajingang, and from this spot, you can also admire the beautiful scenery of Yin Yang Sea in the distance.

▲ Yinyang Sea: Located on the northern side of Shuinuandong Village in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, this unique coastal landscape is famous for its striking contrast of golden and azure waters. The nearby Jinguashi Mountain is rich in pyrite, which weathers to form copper and iron ions that dissolve into the water, creating suspended yellowish-brown iron hydroxide particles. These particles blend with the blue seawater to form a stunning gradient of yellow and blue, resembling a natural palette. At the T-junction of Dongding Road and Provincial Highway No. 2, a straight road stretches toward the azure sea, framed by blue skies and white clouds. This scene closely resembles the iconic setting from the anime "Slam Dunk," earning it the nickname "Little Kamakura."

▲ Shuinuandong: The old Taiwan Metal Mining Corporation plant near Shuinuandong and Yinyang Sea, also known as the Thirteen Levels Remains, was once a major ore processing facility for Shuinuandong, Jinguashi, and Jiufen. Used for refining gold, silver, and copper ores, the site resembles a deserted grand palace from afar, with its 2km-long abandoned flue faintly visible among the mountains, adding an air of mystery. For the best views of the uniquely desolate beauty of the Thirteen Levels Remains, look up from the Shuinuandong parking lot or observe from the side at the Changren Community viewing pavilion.

▲ Jiufen Old Street: Nestled between mountains and sea, Jiufen offers distinct seasonal charms. Spring brings cherry blossoms, summer carries refreshing breezes, autumn sees silvergrass swaying, while winter wraps the town in mist. Sea-facing windows frame breathtaking views of Keelung Mountain and the harbor. Cherry blossoms adorn Fushan Temple in spring, cool mountain winds provide summer relief, silvergrass blankets the hills in fall, and winter drizzle creates poetic streams along stone steps. By day, the sea sparkles under clear skies; by night, fishing boats twinkle like stars. Jiufen's natural beauty captivates visitors year-round.
