The warm Indian Ocean current and the cold plateau current meet in the Himalayas, forming the famous five ravines. Chentanggou, located on the border between China and Nepal, is one of them. It has abundant rainfall and lush original vegetation. It is a village where the Sherpa people have lived for generations. There is a magical landscape like "one mountain has four seasons, and ten miles have different weather". The turbid and roaring Penqu River and the clear Karma Zangbo merge here and flow to the Arun River in Nepal. The Sherpas, who are said to be descendants of the Xixia people, live on both sides of the Himalayas on the border between China and Nepal. They are Mount Everest climbing guides and are known as the "porters of the Himalayas."
