We had an exceptional experience at Fado na Baixa in Porto. The performance featured highly professional musicians and singers who delivered traditional fado music with remarkable passion and emotion. Their beautiful performances truly moved the audience. Between the live performances, the show included informative video clips that explored the history of fado, including the Coimbra style of fado and the important role of female fado singers. Learning about the origins and evolution of this music greatly deepened our appreciation of what we were hearing. The space itself was super intimate and cozy, which made the experience feel even more personal and immersive. If we return to Portugal, we would definitely love to experience this performance again. We strongly recommend Fado na Baixa to all visitors to Portugal.

It was beautiful, biggest props to the guide, Dani, he was such a joy, well spoken english and the satirical jokes + interesting and insightful information, made it so memorable. He was very easy to talk to, and made himself available to any questions people wanted to ask and was also very willing to let me play some music :), all at a reasonable volume of course. The drive was very comfortable, he’s constantly checking if the temperature in the van is ok with everyone and letting people sleep after the walks etc. the lunch was also adorable, the space felt very cosy and homey. All in all it was wonderful, the bridge and the walkways were my personal highlight, you can go at your own pace, which I do recommend cause it’s jaw-droppingly beautiful so don’t rush through it. Genuinely the most caring guide I’ve had on such tours.
