Reviews: Birmingham City Centre Daily Walking Tour (10:30am & 2pm)

Sharing the experience of an impressive city centre with a friendly group and a charming guide. Loved the Black Sabbath bridge and the canal quarter. Hated the woke disclaimer on the golden boys statue. The Enlightenment and Industrial Revolution were what ended Slavery and eventually colonialism. These evils had existed for thousands of years precisely until the 18th century humanitarian revolution in Britain.
Reviews: Shrewsbury Prison Guided Tour

We have visited before 2 years ago for the guided boat tour, last night we were back for the Night Behind Bars sleepover! It exceeded our expectations and was such a great experience. The tour ladies were fabulous and full of knowledge and paranormal experts (one Michele, apologies I can’t recall the other ladies). We arrived with our pillow and quilt and wow did we need them, it was a chilly evening. We got settled into our cell, we chose A7 (right at the top of the wing), they provide sheets for you on arrival. We got our beds sorted then headed to the restaurant, we had the pizza meal for 2 for £34.99 with an alcoholic drink included. Value for money and the pizza was delicious! We sat and chilled and ate our food before the tour started later that evening. We had chance to explore A Wong whilst we waited for the tour to start. The ghost tour was brilliant and at times we all went quiet when talking about the presence of spirits within the different area of the prison (I won’t ruin it for anyone)! The knowledge and personal stories shared from the team were great and very eery and spooky. We then had time to explore, C Wing was definitely the spookiest in my view!!! Later we headed to the cell to go to sleep, we had a comfortable night though waking to go to the toilet at 5.30am in the dark wings is a tad terrifying!!! Our experience was completed with a morning wake up call and breakfast! A fabulous experience and I highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff on the evening.
