Reviews: Wellington: Half-Day City Highlights Tour and Cable Car Ride

Tour was excellent. Steve was knowledgeable and took extra efforts to show us around and took lovely pictures of ours. Just that it is too pricy for the number of sites and given time.
Reviews: Wellington's Original LOTR Experience - includes Weta and Lunch

Marc was the most amazing host. He was an extra on LOTR and has many interesting stories to tell as well as a behind-the-scenes knowledge of the filming locations. Every location was stunningly beautiful and I had a blast. Highly recommend Marc and this tour.

What a wonderful day! We left the itinerary to Jo as we had little knowledge of Wellington and she more than delivered. Not only did we see many sights, but Jo had a wealth of knowledge on al sorts of information about New Zealand in general. Her vehicle was really comfortable and we had some wonderful NZ snacks.Lu ch was fantastic and off the beaten track. I'm not going to reveal where it was, if you are lucky she may take you there too. This was one of our favorite excursions by far!
Reviews: Blenheim: Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre Admission Ticket

A remarkable and informative museum with exhibits that are truly brought to life by Peter Jackson’s creative studio’s. I spent 5 hours poring over the unique warplane displays and the Battle for Stalingrad theatre production was so thought provoking

Annie (hope I spelled it right) was a great guide, she had to deal with a party of 18 (noisy , distracting and generally a pain) and she handled them poise and professionalism . Great job. Made the experience great for the rest of the attendees. Thanks
Reviews: Skip the Line:WWI & WWII Combo Exhibitions at the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre

Ok, I'm a modeler and a history buff, so I could focus one the few bad pieces and incorrectly identified items that are mixd in with the good ones. But why would I if there is so much to enjoy here. What a truly great way to tell the story of 1908-1945 aviation and make it accessible to and bring it to life for a broad audience! Well done! The live-sized diorama's breathe life into a broad range of WWI and WWII aviation topics; there are many rare and exceptionally restored aircraft on display; and the personal items on display add a personal aspect to the exhibition that might otherwise be missing. Personally, I would have avoided displaying Gode (repro)awards on the von Eberhard tunic, especially since his actual awards were recently sold at auction; and would have handled some of the attributions and identification of specific individual items more carefully - but those are details, that do not distract from the presentation as a whole, or from the great effort the museum makes to bring history to life. Well done, and well worth a visit!
