Four of us went on a cruise on Milford Sound. It was very picturesque and the guide was knowledgeable and funny. We decided to take the bus from Te Anau as part of the tour. This was better than driving because we got running commentary and the bus knew where to stop to get great photos along the way. It also meant I could take in the views without driving. The bus also gave us a bag with our lunch to take on the cruise. Lunch was not available on our cruise. It did have tea, coffee and biscuits

It’s a very scenic place and not too far from Prague. Well worth the visit. Our van driver was Filip and he was a good driver, but he got pissed off at some stage with couple of the passengers as they were not compliant with his hot drinks rule in the van. However he then said he was not going to be our guide and André became our guide. I think that was the best thing to happen as André was an excellent guide, he went into nice detail with humor and horror thrown in. Personally I felt that Filip being the owner of the tours should have had better sense than to show his displeasure to the tour participants. Also he had not cleaned the vehicle and all the windows were dirty. There was no plan give to us as to what to expect on the day. So those aspects need attention but withstanding all that André made up for all the deficits and the place is just tremendous

It was a very fine tour. Our driver was on time and very professional. The guide Jan at Krumlov town was very knowledgeable. We did the castle tour and theater tour which were interesting but the town tour was better. We slept all the way back in the Mercedes van and the driver dropped us off at the hotel. Perfect day trip.
