Today's happiness was thanks to Guifei (Director Yang). I almost missed the bus to the meeting point this morning because I was lost in Tokyo, but thanks to Guifei's patience, the day wasn't ruined. Along the way, Guifei shared a lot of Tokyo-related trivia, from geography and culture to language and food, making the otherwise boring trip much more interesting. The entire itinerary was also perfectly designed. We took the little train from Shimoyoshida Station to Lake Kawaguchi, boarded the swan boat I'd been longing for, and even fed the swans 🦢 before heading back to Shinjuku Station, completely satisfied. This time, I was a "Mount Fuji refugee" (a term used to describe people who are stranded near Mount Fuji), so I didn't get to see Mount Fuji in person. I'll have to come back in winter next time!★

I joined a day tour for my graduation trip with friends! It was fun, even though the itinerary was a bit tight, we got to see all the popular surrounding attractions! It's a great nature tour to follow after exploring Tokyo city. Although we couldn't see Mount Fuji very well in the summer, we still wanted more! Next time, I'll plan a two-day, one-night trip near Mount Fuji. Looking forward to my next trip! (Happy New Year!)★

Besides the initial itinerary planning, the driver/guide is crucial to the overall experience. We joined a small group of 9 people, and our driver, Ah Feng, drove steadily and provided thorough explanations of each attraction before we got off the bus – efficient and meticulous, a true Japan expert! 👍 The weather on February 15th was also fantastic. I highly recommend cycling around Lake Yamanaka for those with good stamina; however, the group tour was a bit rushed, leaving us wanting more.★

It happened to be raining this time, so Mount Fuji was hidden away, a white blur. However, the scenery along the way was still beautiful. Our guide, Mr. Sakuragi, was very interesting and took us to all sorts of popular tourist spots. The downside was that the stops at each place were a bit short; we barely had time to take a few photos before we had to move on to the next activity! There was a lot of walking involved, so I'll post the rest time here~★
