Reviews: Backwater Adventure's CraigCat Tours of the 10,000 Islands

We both loved this excursion. It was great having our own boat and it was very easy to navigate. They provided 2 ice cold water bottles per person which is necessary for the Florida heat. We saw multiple dolphins and had a blast cruising around the bay. The tour guide had a great personality and really wanted everyone just to have fun. We both highly recommend doing this.

What a lovely afternoon!!! Captain Paul S. was so personable and knowledgeable about the area. We saw so many dolphins and they played around our boat for a long time! We found so many pretty shells and watched a gorgeous sunset on the Gulf. An overall perfect date or family outing.

We had a great time…. Capt. Nate was a fantastic guide and an all around nice guy. The boat was clean and pristine and well shaded. We went out on the Sunrise tour and it was beautiful and serene with the sun rising over the calm waters as we navigated through the mangrove islands. He took us to several shelling islands and we found lots of great sea treasures. Will definitely be back!
Reviews: Marco Island: Sunset Boat Tour

We had an unforgettable time. The boat itself is a rigid, flat-bottomed speedboat with a powerful 200hp engine and two side benches seating two to three people. A sunshade protects us from the sun and rain. The tour: We chose the evening cruise until sunset from a sandbar. But before that, what a marvel! We were lucky enough to see dozens of dolphins, sometimes so close we could have touched them. The captain was skillful enough to get some to jump in the wake for a mile or two. Another marvel was the habitat of various birds: hundreds of pelicans on a large bush in the middle of the water, the same for cormorants, oysters clinging to the sandbars, white ibises, and more. Pelicans diving at sunset. Thanks again to the captain for his kindness and professionalism. Stepladder to get down to the beach, towel to dry off on the way back, bag to collect seashells.
