I signed up for this tour because it offered everything I wanted to do! It was a weekday evening tour, and there were about 15 or 16 of us in total, some listening to English guides and others to Japanese guides. For the lantern release and tea ceremony, we each chose whether or not to participate and told the guide. Those who didn't participate had free time to explore. There was a lot of climbing and descending stairs, so it was hot and I sweated a lot. I was glad I had water and sweat wipes. There were also many other tour groups sightseeing there!
