I love plants and wanted to see the Rafflesia. I was searching mainly for tours around Kinabalu Park, but this proved to be the most difficult. Some tours only looked at the mountain from afar, and the length of stay varied, making it hard to imagine what kind of tour I was looking for. I had no choice but to decide based on whether the tour included a tour guide and the price.
The tour I joined this time was a great choice!
Our guide, Jeff, was friendly and spoke slowly to us, even though we don't speak English, making it easy to understand. He even joked around, which was fun.
The Korean family on our tour was also very kind.
It started raining in the afternoon, so we only had 20 minutes to explore Kinabalu Park, but the tour, which ended at 17:30, continued until after 18:30. I was very satisfied.
Afterwards, I contacted WHAT UP to find something I had lost, and they even went to the trouble of delivering it to my hotel. I'm so touched by their kindness!
I'm sorry I couldn't thank them in person.
I highly recommend this tour guide.
Finally, when I arrived at the Malaysian airport, I saw many Trip.com advertisements and was reminded once again of how big a company it has become.★

This trip with Roy was one of the happiest memories of my time in Malaysia. Thanks to Roy's knowledge, I learned about the diverse plants native to Malaysia and even got tips on delicious restaurants. The tour started at 7 a.m. and ended around 5 p.m., and it was very informative. I was looking forward to seeing the Rafflesia, and I was so happy to see it.★

Ordered the trip via trip.com and the driver arrived at a different hotel. No one called, no one answered our calls. Fortunately, the trip.com assisted with solving the issue pretty well and we went on this trip on a different day. The guide, Ken, was a lot of fun. The trip itself was interesting despite the long distances. We bought yogurt and cheese on the farm, tasted good. The lunch was good.
