Nestled deep in the mountains, this is a natural oxygen bar. Personally, I think the price is a bit high compared to the entrance fee. The attractions are all along paths with babbling brooks and waterfalls. I recommend visiting in May; coming at other times will really disappoint you. May, when the flowers are in bloom, offers the best combination of beauty and scenery. Going in August was truly disappointing.

Overall, the trip was good. The Ambassador Hotel was a bit older compared to other hotels, feeling similar to Motel 168. Fortunately, it's very close to the beach and DFS. Our group of four had a great time. Because it was a semi-independent trip, the first three days were much less stressful. The tour guide provided transportation, but then asked us to pay a service fee of $25 per person, which felt more expensive than on Ctrip. Secondly, the tour guide's prices for optional excursions were higher than on Ctrip. Be aware of this, but if you show him your Ctrip receipt, he'll stick to Ctrip prices and give some reasons. Hope other friends going to Hawaii have a great time!

I initially thought that a tour costing 4000+ RMB would have a lot of money spent on optional excursions, and that the tour guide would try to persuade us to participate. However, this tour guide was very nice; his name was Liu Ding*, and his accent sounded a lot like Shule from "Grandma's Story" in Shanghai, haha. We chose a few activities we wanted to do, completely based on our own preferences. We saw an adult show, had a very authentic herbal massage, ate a wide variety of Thai fruits, and went to the legendary Du Lala (a popular Thai entertainment venue). The tour guide was also very patient with our group, which had few young people and mostly older women. The whole trip was very enjoyable and harmonious. Now, let's talk about food, accommodation, and transportation. Food: The group meals were very good. The dining environment on the first night was excellent, the hotel's buffet breakfast was also great, and we even had two dinners by the sea, including some crocodile meat, which was quite interesting. The only downside was that the last day's meals were a bit rushed and light. Accommodation: The four-night stay at Dusit Thani was excellent. The Bangkok one was a bit old, but the location was superb, with the subway station right outside the back door, just two stops from Center World and Big C. I really liked the room in Pattaya; it was just steps from the pool, and the sea was right in front of the pool. The scenery was beautiful. The only regret was that there were so many activities, and we had to return to the hotel late and leave early each morning, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool. That was a real shame! Transportation: The driver was great. We were lucky and didn't encounter much traffic. The weather was also good; it didn't rain during the rainy season, only a few drops during meals. Most importantly, the flight was direct. The return flight was very late, which was tiring, but it was a large plane, and the service was good. In summary: It was definitely a great value trip to Thailand.
