Things to do in Qiandao Lake

It's worth going! The view from the boat is breathtaking and expansive! The management is very efficient; there are people everywhere to inform you of the itinerary. Climbing to the top of Meifeng Island offers a panoramic view of over 300 islands, a truly exhilarating experience!

The sunset view of the lake from the Tianyu Mountain viewing platform is absolutely stunning and highly recommended. The escalator to the viewing platform is effortless, and on the way down, you can enjoy the water slide – a little thrilling – which leads directly to the parking lot, making it incredibly convenient.

[Travelogue] Day 6 of Zhejiang Trip Departing at 6:30 AM, we drove to Qiandao Lake in Chun'an. Boarding the Qiandao Lake Cruise Ship No. 389, our lake journey began, visiting Meifeng Island, Yule Island, Longshan Island, and Moonlight Island in succession. Returning to Qiandao Lake after 20 years, I was filled with emotion; the lake has changed so much. The cruise ship broke through the calm waters, heading deeper into the archipelago. Reaching Meifeng Island, we climbed the steps to the viewing platform, where we were greeted by the magnificent view of "the most beautiful water in the world." Numerous islands, large and small, lay serenely in the vast expanse of blue water, with distant mountains shrouded in a light mist. The lake and mountains reflected each other, a scene that overlapped with my memories, yet added a new charm. Strolling on Moonlight Island, the waterfront path was quiet and serene, a gentle breeze rippling the water; Yule Island was lively and vibrant, while Longshan Island held many cultural stories. Compared to over a decade ago, the scenic area boasts much better facilities, a cleaner and more orderly dock, more rationally planned cruise routes, and a more relaxed and comfortable tour experience. Standing on the ship's railing, with the lake breeze caressing your face and gazing at the endless archipelago, old memories meet new scenery. The lake water remains clear and vast, the mountains and waters still breathtaking. Amidst the thousands of islands, quietly enjoy this leisurely and slow-paced lakeside and mountain time.

The Southeast Lake Area was a fantastic experience! Compared to the Central Lake Area, it was less crowded, the water was crystal clear, and the scenery was more pristine. The boat tour visited Osmanthus Island, Tianchi Island, and Huangshan Peak in sequence, offering a leisurely pace. Climbing to the top of Huangshan Peak and overlooking the "All Under Heaven Belongs to the People" landscape was breathtaking; cable cars provided for easy ascent. The boat tour with the lake breeze was very pleasant – highly recommended!

The whole process is effortless. Three elevators take you up the mountain to the observation deck. Continuing upwards, there's a gate for taking photos. If you don't want to explore other areas, you can follow the signs to take the water slide down. However, you can actually continue walking upwards. 1-2 hours is enough. The water slide is very fun, long enough, a little thrilling but not scary.

If you don't want to go to the islands, the botanical garden is a great choice for your trip. It's rich in negative oxygen ions, has beautiful scenery on sunny days, and you can get close to various animals. It's also suitable for camping and picnics.

After waiting for 2 days, we finally waited for an hour without wind and rain. The store contacted us and said that we could fly at 4pm. We grabbed our kids and went there. We finally got on the hot air balloon. Although the clouds were still very thick, it did not affect the beautiful scenery. We also saw Phnom Penh in the sun. We were so lucky😀

I spent three days in the Qiandao Lake tourist town, checking out the fairly popular Qiandao Lake Beer Town. This town features a European style, with colorful townhouses and cobblestone streets perfect for photos. After the lights come on at dusk, it feels like stepping into a fairytale. However, it seems somewhat deserted now, perhaps because the summer season for outdoor beer drinking has passed. Fish head soup with craft beer was a perfect match for dinner. However, the beer museum, at 80 yuan, wasn't great value. A stroll along the lakeside greenway in the evening was particularly pleasant, with the lake breeze on my face. Overall impression: Suitable for a slow-paced vacation; don't rush to see the sights, allow ample time to appreciate the lake scenery and local atmosphere.

In the hotel, parking is convenient, the price/performance ratio is OK, I bought a package of 180, played two little yellow ducks, it was very exciting, I felt like I was going to fall into the water, not suitable for children, there are also simple barrier-breaking projects, because it was too hot in the afternoon, kayaking time was too long and too sunny, it was a waste, the washing area was a bit crowded, the service was not very good

I came here during the sports meet on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), and it was a very successful experience. I saw Wu Chun, Zaoan, Huang Ling, and many other fitness enthusiasts with great physiques. I will definitely continue to follow Huamei Shengdi (a sports venue) in the future; the venue is large, new, and has many activities. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended
