The Shimen (“stone gate”) Catwalk Scenic Area is about 15 kilometers north of Hanzhong City. The original Shimen Catwalk was inundated in 1969 so that reservoir repairs could be undertaken. Later, a recreation of the original ancient Shimen Catwalk was built and raised 70 meters above the original. The replica Shimen Catwalk is almost 3 kilometers long and built exactly like the original. The remains of an official travel stop, courier station, and loading station in the style of the Han era have even been restored. The scenic area has entrance gates on both the east and west sides of the Bao River. Most visitors enter from the western entrance.Mian County · 28.1 km from downtown

It's pretty good. It's meaningful to come all the way to see Mr. Kong Ming. Death before success always makes heroes cry. But to be honest, the Cold Weapon Museum is a bit small. Alas, Prime Minister Zhuge. Alas, Mr. Kong Ming.

Only die-hard fans of the Three Kingdoms would think to come to this place, right? I sent the Prime Minister some modern-day "instant-heating rice," wishing him success in his Northern Expedition in another time and space.

The scenic area is quite large, with mountains and water, and it's very pleasant to look at. However, it must be even more beautiful in autumn when the leaves turn red. The road is not easy to walk; it took me two hours to get there via the mountain path, and there's no other way to go. There weren't too many people, and there are guesthouses at the foot of the mountain.

Because the cable car was being replaced, we had to hike. The ascent was quite challenging for older people, and the scenery along the way was relatively monotonous, but the air was fresh. The view at the summit might be different, but I didn't have the stamina to climb it. Overall, the management was good, and the shuttle bus operated smoothly. It's suitable for those who want to exercise by hiking.

The scenic area isn't large, and its design isn't the grand, flat style; instead, it has many winding paths and steps, but you feel like you've reached the top when you get tired. I think it's best to explore at a leisurely pace. Traffic was terrible during the holiday; a trip to the county town that usually takes half an hour took four hours on the road.

The scenic spot of "Mingxiu Plank Road, Andu Chencang" features a cliffside plank road overlooking clear water, with stunning scenery of the Baohe River, high gorges, and calm lake. The cliff carvings are rich in history, and Cao Cao's original calligraphy is magnificent. You can also take a boat to enjoy the lake and mountain scenery. It has a strong sense of blending the ancient and the modern. It has both the beauty of natural landscape and the historical weight of the Qin, Han and Three Kingdoms period. Hiking on the plank road can give you a taste of the hardships that ancient people faced. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for sightseeing.
