Things to do in Longshan

Huogongdian, a food palace that carries a long history and Hunan culture, has attracted countless diners with its unique snacks, antique architectural style and lively cultural atmosphere. It has become an excellent place to taste authentic Hunan cuisine and experience the rich folk customs, making people linger and praise it.

Enshi has been experiencing light rain every day recently, and fog is highly likely on the mountains. While walking along the cliffside plank road, everything was shrouded in mist, making it impossible to see anything. Fortunately, the fog cleared when we reached "One Incense Stick," and we could see. This scenic area requires a bit of luck. The entire hike takes about 5 hours (from parking lot to parking lot). The most physically demanding section is from the beginning to the "One Line Sky," while the later sections are less strenuous. I think the Earth Fissure is more unique than Qixingzhai. Enshi Grand Canyon is a karst landscape, and Qixingzhai's appearance is more like a peak forest, lacking a distinctive feature. However, the Earth Fissure is very special: the collapse of the underground cave ceiling formed the Yunlong River Fissure, and the continuous erosion and dissolution of the cliff face by flowing water has created stone curtains, which is quite interesting. The scenic area is over 1000 meters above sea level and has many maple trees. With the recent light rain and large temperature differences between day and night, the maple leaves have turned red, which is also a sight to behold.

The ruins of the ancient city of Liye have nice scenery, beautiful views and are very interesting. It is one of the special attractions. It is a site with history and stories, very interesting and cost-effective, and it is worth recommending to everyone.

Nice ambient, a bit touristy but less than furong town. Probably one overnight is enough to stay here.

Furong Town, a hidden gem nestled deep in the mountains of western Hunan, is a millennium-old haven of charm and tranquility, and a unique ancient town "hanging on a waterfall" in China. During the day, Furong Town is serene, magnificent, and rustic. The entire town is built against the mountainside, with layers of Tujia stilted houses cascading down the slope, their wooden buildings, black tiles, and upturned eaves blending seamlessly with the verdant cliffs.

Compared to Enshi Grand Canyon, I highly recommend Pingshan Canyon. Don't choose the so-called "lazy person's route" with boats in and out; you still walk quite a bit, and you repeat the same route both ways, going up and down a long stretch of steps inside the cave and missing a lot of scenery! Just take the regular route; even as a lazy person, I thought it was fine. The cliffside views are absolutely stunning!

Visiting in August offers stunning scenery and incredibly cool weather, especially for the car surfing. The floating bridge can be crossed multiple times. The park staff are very friendly; when we couldn't explain the route clearly after driving out of the gate, they allowed us to go back in.

My stay in Chongqing was fantastic! The hotel boasts a superb location, within walking distance of Eling No. 2 Factory and Liziba Viewpoint, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The rooms were spotless and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were complete. The free parking was a great convenience for travelers with cars. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in quick and easy, and patiently answering all my questions. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and is a top choice for any trip. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

This time, I went straight to the VIP area to check in at the Eye in the Clouds. As soon as I entered, I was amazed by the lush greenery. The fresh greenery combined with the high-altitude environment made me feel instantly away from the crowds outside.
