Fairy Caves is a cave full of mysterious legends. It is unknown whether there are gods living in it, but the scenery inside the cave is breathtaking. The reason why Xiandong is called "Xiandong" is because there is a stalactite that looks like the Goddess of Mercy, a god statue about 3 feet high, wearing ancient robes and hats, looking down at the coming worshipers. Another stalactite is an old man in a bent knee position. The fairy cave is about three stories high. Beautiful natural products and strangely shaped stalactites and stalagmites can be seen inside the cave. Climb up the steps from the entrance to the entrance about 3 stories above the ground. Although there is a weak light source inside, the line of sight is still poor. Some must have climbing movements. Be careful when walking. There are unique caves in the cave. The natural cliffs and rock formations, the stalactite pillars of various shapes, the dripping water that never dries up, the dark and undulating paths, and the cool breeze blowing on the face, are like the secret base for the cultivation of the legendary masters outside the world. Behind these strange rocks and rocks are often given mysterious tasks or roles. It is said that local people, especially the Chinese, pray for the safety of their families, so incense candles, offerings or altars often appear in the cave, adding to the mystery of the cave.Bau · 43.7 km from Lundu

Shou Shan Ting Da Pek Kung Temple is leaning on the hillside of Kuching and facing the river. When the Japanese invaded in 1941, many buildings around it were bombed by the Japanese army, but only it remained intact. The temple was built in 1843, however, official records only admit that it was built in 1876. In 1876, the temple underwent a major renovation. The Shoushan Pavilion Dabogong Temple is backed by the Flower Pot Mountain, facing the Sarawak River, and the mountain is facing the water. "Da Bogong" is the name of the Hakka people for the land master. There are not many people in the Dabogong Temple on weekdays, but every year in the seventh month of the lunar calendar, there will be celebrations, which are very lively.Kuching · 56.7 km from Lundu

Serenity by the Sarawak: My Morning Escape at Kuching WaterfrontEnjoyed a lovely late morning stroll along the Sarawak River with beautiful views of the legislative assembly building. The area was quiet and relaxing with few people around - perfect for some peaceful downtime. Appreciated the benches under shady trees where you can sit and enjoy the cool river breeze. A simple but pleasant way to experience Kuching's riverside charm without crowds. Great spot for: - Leisurely walks - Quiet contemplation - Enjoying river views - Escaping the city bustle No frills, just a nice public space by the water. Ideal for travelers looking for a calm moment in between sightseeing. --- Note: Visit in morning/evening for best temperatures

It is under repair and construction and will not be open until December 2020. Now only a small room is open. Several museums are under repair. Come back next year. The newly built one should be very beautiful. At least it looks good!

Tua Pek Kong Temple is a magnificent Chinese temple that radiates cultural richness and spiritual harmony. Located in many Southeast Asian cities—most famously in Sibu, Malaysia—it honors the deity Tua Pek Kong, the God of Prosperity. The temple stands out with its ornate pagoda-style roofs, colorful dragons, and intricate carvings that reflect traditional Chinese artistry. Visitors are greeted by the scent of incense and the serene sound of temple bells, creating a peaceful atmosphere for reflection and prayer. Overlooking the river or cityscape, the temple offers stunning views and a deep glimpse into Chinese heritage and local devotion.
