Things to do in Luxi

The experience of visiting Wugong Mountain was quite good. The hiking route was of moderate difficulty and not strenuous. The view from the summit was expansive, overlooking vast meadows. The breeze was pleasant and refreshing. There were also ample supply points along the way, so I didn't need to bring too much with me. It was a very relaxing trip.

I was so lucky this time. I was hesitant about going up the mountain and was even planning to change my plans, but I decided to take a gamble at the last minute. As a result, I encountered clouds, and I was really lucky. I took the first section of the cable car up the mountain, and then walked up and down. My legs are now useless, but I am still really happy.

The Zhongyan Temple Cableway at Wugong Mountain in Pingxiang is an important transportation hub connecting the foot of the mountain to the halfway point. It is the preferred way for ordinary tourists to travel up and down Wugong Mountain, as otherwise it would be very tiring. With this cableway, the elderly, children, and people with poor physical fitness can all enjoy Wugong Mountain.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel was meticulously cleaned, the room was spacious and bright, hot water was plentiful, and the internet speed was stable. The front desk staff were friendly and responded promptly to any issues. The location is excellent, convenient for dining and shopping nearby, and the environment was quiet at night, allowing me to sleep soundly. Overall, it's great value for money, highly recommended, and I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

It's very big and beautiful. You can bring your children to play for a whole day. You can come here to play in front of Wugong Mountain! We didn't come on weekends, so many stores were closed. There were no power banks to scan. When you go, please remember to bring power banks or fully charge them. You can't stop taking pictures! I also met two couples taking wedding photos here!

Good. I think this is a better way to travel: Get up early and go to Mingyue Mountain Scenic Area. Take the cable car up the mountain, visit Moon Lake and Qingyun Plank Road (about 2 hours), then take the mountain train to Yangshimu. Take the Yangshimu shuttle bus to the entrance of Yangshimu Plank Road, exit at Jiufu Square (about 2 hours), and take the shuttle bus back to the Yangshimu train station to return to Mingyue Mountain. Take the cable car down to the middle station, descend the mountain, and visit the Five-Tier Waterfall. I spent 7.5 hours there, which was quite efficient and I gained a lot.

We came to Wugong Mountain for a visit. We walked the section in Pingxiang, took the cable car and hiked all the way to Jinding, the highest peak of Wugong Mountain. Looking around, there is a piece of alpine meadow. In season, it is green. The meadow stretches for more than 20 kilometers and covers an area of ​​more than 100,000 acres. In spring, it is as green as a carpet, and in autumn, the reed flowers are in full bloom. Every season has its beauty. There are many tents set up on the meadow, which is also a camping site. If you want to watch the sunrise the next day, you can consider staying here. There is a store nearby, but the things are a little more expensive.

Although it was raining, it unexpectedly created a kind of "hazy beauty." The cable car quickly reached the summit, and a shuttle bus wound its way to the entrance of the mountaintop boardwalk. Visibility on the mountain was less than 50 meters, but within that range, one could still see the rugged peaks and strange rocks of Yangshimu. Every step along the way offered a new view. At famous scenic spots, you could scan QR codes to learn more about the landscape, which was quite nice.

Mingyue Mountain Tianmu Hot Spring Resort centers around the Wentang Geothermal Hot Spring, which boasts over 800 years of history. The spring water is a rare selenium-rich spring, suitable for both drinking and bathing. The resort features lakeside guest rooms, an open-air hot spring pool area incorporating traditional Chinese medicine, beauty and skincare, and spa treatments, as well as water entertainment facilities such as the Tianmu Dream Water City.

We didn't take the cable car to Wugong Mountain in Ji'an; we walked up and down the mountain, which was perfectly manageable. The only problem was that the fog was so thick at the top that we couldn't see anything. We'll definitely come back again, and next time we'll wear proper gear and hike up Wugong Mountain in reverse!
