Maafushi is an inhabited local island in the Kaafu Atoll, Maldives, situated across the water from the capital, Malé, and accessible by public ferry or speedboat. Unlike private islands that operate on a one island, one resort basis, this is one of the first inhabited islands in the Maldives to open homestays to tourists. With a diverse range of options from budget inns to boutique hotels, it allows budget-conscious travelers to stay on an island more easily and experience the Maldives' blue seas and white sands. The island has a vibrant local atmosphere, with restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops lining the streets. The island is small enough to explore entirely on foot.Maldives · Maafushi

Maadhoo is located on Maadhoo in the South Male Atoll, Maldives, and is a representative all-inclusive resort island in the Maldives. Here, three meals a day, drinks, and most water activities and excursions are included in the room rate, so guests do not need to sign bills repeatedly for every expense, making it perfect for couples and family-friendly travelers looking for a worry-free vacation. The island's 90+ villas are divided into two categories: beach and overwater. Beach villas feature tropical gardens and outdoor bathrooms, with soft white sandy beaches just outside the door. Overwater villas are arranged along long jetties extending into the lagoon, with glass floors inside that allow you to see schools of fish swimming beneath your feet. Some room types feature private pools, and those traveling with children can even choose room types with water slides. Dining is also a major highlight, with the buffet restaurant and à la carte restaurants serving Indian, Chinese, and other cuisines, each with its own unique flavor. Among them, the underwater restaurant M6m is particularly famous; its name is derived from 6 meters underwater, and enjoying lobster or steak while seated surrounded by seawater and schools of fish is the reason many guests make the trip to the island.Maadhoo · 8.7 km from Maafushi

Naladhu is one of three adjacent Anantara islands, located on the east side of South Malé Atoll, and is a sister island to Dhigu and Veli. Guests staying at the Naladhu resort can freely visit the other two islands, but the reverse is not true. Its business philosophy is simple: to allow wealthy individuals and celebrities to enjoy complete privacy while secluded in 19 large villas at this resort. Although it is connected to Veli by a bridge, there is no entrance for guests staying there to access it, which is why it is very popular among Russian tycoons who value privacy. There are 2 types of rooms here, categorized by their location into 13 Ocean Houses with pools and 6 Beach Houses with pools. The actual floor area of the rooms is 300 square meters. The Beach Houses face the lagoon, from where you can see the distant Dhigu, while the Ocean Houses are located on the ocean side.Naladhu · 3.9 km from Maafushi

Cocoa Island (Cocoa Island by Como) is located in the South Atoll of Male. It is a six-star island. It can be reached by speedboat in 40 minutes from Male. The design of the hotel room type is inspired by the local traditional fishing boat in the Maldives - the dhoni. The plank-paved trestle stretches all the way to the lagoon, and at the end of the trestle are these lovely water houses. Cocoa Island is dominated by Europeans and Americans, where you can enjoy the clear view of the Indian Ocean. Every afternoon, you can read the next day's high and low tide times in the tabloid in the room, and you can go for a walk on the 300-meter-long trailing beach during low tide time. In addition, there are free snorkeling guide activities on fixed days every week.Makunufushi · 3.4 km from Maafushi

It is called Pisces because its water house is built in the shape of two fish, one large and one small. You can also see from the picture that the sea around the island is all white. This is the "lagoon". The English name is "lagoon". It is a white area formed by the accumulation of dead corals, but not above the sea level. It is very shallow and very beautiful when viewed up close. It takes less than an hour to get to the island by speedboat from Male Airport. As soon as I got off the boat, I was shocked by the clear sea water (I can't say blue, because this lagoon is too big, it's so big, amazing), and the weather was sunny. Looking at the island from the pier, there is a long plank road. On the left is the SUNSET restaurant that I will often visit in the future, and on the right is the LAGNOON bar, where I will have my honeymoon meal. The sea on the right is very shallow, very suitable for swimming, snorkeling, water activities, etc. The sea on the left is deeper, as you can see from the color, and it is not recommended to go into the sea here. The junction of white and blue is the junction of shallow sea and deep sea. There are the most fish and corals here, and the water flow is very slow. It is very safe. Even if you can't swim, you can come here to swim. Many people come here to dive early in the morning. There are free coffee and tea for you to make, and there are kettles. The water tastes like desalinated seawater. Sometimes it is a little salty, but we think it's okay and we are used to it. We didn't bring much water this time. It is recommended that students don't bring too much water. There is no need to be tired. Two small bottles of mineral water are delivered every day. There are shampoo, shower gel and other things in the bathroom, even razors, and a lot of towels, which are changed twice a day. There are also power converters and hair dryers. The small fish water house opens like a skirt, and the panoramic view is very beautiful. My favorite infinity pool, there are two on the whole island, I only found out later, I thought there was only one. Dinner is a buffet, and the meal time is 7:30. Be on time. If you come too early, they really won't let you eat. Xiao Hei has already booked the place. We will eat at the same place for the next four days. Tell Xiao Hei the room number when you enter the door and he will take you there. There is no water or drinks in this buffet. You have to order them separately, so we had to use fruit instead. I checked before coming to Shuangyu Island. The snorkeling is not very good. The main reason is that the LAGOON is too big, which affects the fish and corals. But there are still two good snorkeling spots near the pier. The advantage is that the water is very shallow, which is very suitable for people who can't swim. It is very safe and the waves are small. The entertainment projects on the island are different every day. After you get on the island, Xiao Hei will hand you a detailed description of the project in Chinese. Don't worry about not understanding it. However, there is the same project every day, which is "snorkeling at sea". It is probably the most popular project on the island. People who came to the island this time seemed not to be very enthusiastic about participating in these projects. In addition to snorkeling at sea, other activities, such as night fishing and island tours, basically did not have enough people to participate. Each activity requires a minimum of 8 people. Snorkeling costs $45 per person, plus tax and service fee, it's almost $50 per person. To register, just fill in the room number and name on the registration form at the reception one day in advance, it's very simple, and then set off the next day

I particularly like this exquisite island. The whole island is covered with fine sand. You can walk barefoot on the beach without worrying about hurting your feet. The island is covered with dense vegetation, which will not make you feel very sunburned. I especially like the hammocks everywhere on the island, which is really romantic. There is also a free spa and gym on the island, where you can relax yourself. The characteristic of Cocoa is that the room shape of the water house is the shape of a dhoni boat, which is very beautiful and romantic. There are only water houses on the whole island, no sand houses, so friends who want to experience the sand house should pay attention. However, you can take a double island tour of Cocoa and Mary Fuji, which should be a lot of discounts. Although Cocoa Island is small, it has everything it should have. It is small but complete and very exquisite. Cocoa's catering is a meal package in the form of ordering, unlike some islands that are self-service. It is basically three dishes plus a dessert. The quantity is sufficient, enough for you to eat well. My favorite is oysters, oysters, so fresh. Activities include watching dolphins, sea fishing, paragliding, snorkeling, sunset cruises, etc. Cocoa also has a very beautiful tail beach. When you walk to the end of the beach and feel the beauty of the sea, the feeling is indescribable. In a word, Cocoa is worth having.
