Everything about this hotel - cleanliness, service, ambiance, and facilities - was satisfying. They even have sports amenities like a basketball court, and the end of the running track offers a sea view. There's a shuttle bus to Kai Tak MTR station every half hour. After 9 PM, you can take the 22/22M bus from near Kowloon Bay MTR station (about a 10-minute walk), so transportation is quite convenient overall. The room wasn't huge, and they didn't provide disposable slippers (you can buy them for just over ten dollars yourself). Currently, there's no laundry service on-site (you have to take your laundry to the Ching Long Shopping Centre near Kai Tak MTR station). Some rooms occasionally hear helicopter noise. However, for this price, none of these are real issues. It's affordable and practical, perfect for those who prioritize clean rooms and great value for money!

The moment I stepped into the room, I knew I'd made the right choice. In a city like Hong Kong, where every inch is precious, to find such a bright and tidy space at this price was amazing. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a view of half the city's lights, the MTR station was just around the corner, and the pineapple buns from the teahouse downstairs were a three-minute walk away. The towels smelled like sunshine, and the front desk lady remembered I preferred a high pillow. Every detail seemed to say: 'See? You don't have to spend a fortune to embrace the vibrant pulse of this city.' On my departure day, I looked back at it standing quietly amidst the shimmering lights of Nathan Road, like an old friend, offering a transient visitor the most comforting Hong Kong embrace.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. The soundproofing is excellent, the facilities are comprehensive, and the service is top-notch. It's super close to Mong Kok MTR station, and you can store your luggage there. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Hong Kong.
International-style 7 Days Inn. If you're staying for more than two nights, think twice.
I only stayed for one night as a layover. I chose a chain hotel over some unfamiliar ones, hoping for some guarantee, but I didn't expect even a chain hotel in Hong Kong to be this bad.
**Facilities:** Very old and worn out. The bathroom glass had stubborn rust stains that wouldn't come off. There are five small elevators, and you need to swipe your room card to access your floor.
The central air conditioning was incredibly loud. If you turn it off, you can't open the window, and there's a damp smell.
The two beds were pushed together, and only one side had a charging port and a small table.
The bed was very small.
**Environment:** It's a bit inconvenient dragging luggage through the narrow streets of Sheung Wan. It's not particularly close to any MTR stations. If you're traveling with a backpack, it might be an option.
**Service:** Standard. You can communicate in Mandarin, and there are also English-speaking staff.
It's very close to Luk On Kee, convenient for a local experience.

The hotel is conveniently located 5 mins from Jordan MTR station and there's a bus station just across the street with route A21 which goes straight to the airport.
Room is small just like all other hotels in Hong Kong, but it is just right for me as I am travelling alone. Improvement on the ventilation is needed, there's a musty smell when I enter the room, fortunately there's no mold in the bathroom.
Disposable one-time towel and face towel is provided, toothbrush and comb too. Fragrance for the shower gel and shampoo is kind of masculine but acceptable. No water bottle provided.
However, I am not sure whether because the weather is turning cold so they controlled the air-conditioning centrally, it is quite warm whenever I enter the room, the room temperature is always at 22°C even I tried to set it at 16°C. But I feel cold after settling down abit, not much of a major issue.
Walking distance to my favourite Char Can Teng - Australia Dairy Company, and also the Michelin dessert shop - Kai Kai dessert. Would consider coming back for my next stay.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Times Square. The Times Square basement directly connects to Causeway Bay MTR Station Exit A. It's surrounded by a dense shopping area, including Times Square, Hysan Place, and SOGO, with tons of shops and a huge variety of food options. Right downstairs from the hotel, there's a Milk Tea Cafe, and nearby you'll find Breakhouse egg tarts, Chee Kei Wonton, and He Fu Lao Mian. I particularly recommend Lei Garden on the 10th floor of Times Square and Chung Kee Cantonese restaurant on the 12th floor for their dim sum and afternoon tea – I've tried them myself and they're great value for money. It's also super close to the tram (ding ding) and city bus stops, making transportation incredibly convenient. To the right of the hotel, there's a three-story Brandy Melville (BM) store, which is very popular with young people.
The hotel front desk service was very polite and courteous. A big shout out to Alan and Jenny for their thoughtful and attentive service.

MK Hotel's location is pretty convenient, though it's a bit of a walk from the MTR station, about 5 minutes. The room was indeed tiny, but that's to be expected and understandable in Hong Kong.
P.S. A special heads-up for guests: they don't provide complimentary bottled water or toiletries, so remember to bring your own or buy them in advance!
The upside is that the hotel offers free luggage storage, and the front desk staff were really warm and attentive. Overall, it's a decent choice for the price.

Facilities: There's a 24-hour gym, which the kids loved.
Cleanliness: Relatively clean.
Environment: The blackout curtains aren't great, but it wasn't too noisy being on the street. I'm not sure if it was the AC or the ventilation system, but it was a bit loud. You can't hear any noise from other rooms or upstairs, so overall it was okay. The two beds were pushed together, which was perfect for a family traveling with two kids.
Service: Check-in and check-out were both quick, and the service was very thoughtful. Storing luggage at check-out was super convenient, and the front desk staff were very nice.
Facilities: There are tram stops nearby and a bus stop right outside. There's also a fruit store and a pharmacy next to the hotel, and a 7-Eleven across the street, making dining, living, and transportation quite convenient. Being close to Times Square makes getting around easy. The hotel's logo isn't very prominent; I'd suggest hanging it higher and making it stand out with different colors and lights.
Recommendation: Try the Yoshinoya nearby. It's close to the market, so you can also check out the market for good food.

This was my first time visiting Hong Kong, and it happened to be a weekend with a celebrity concert, so hotel prices were soaring. Prince Hotel turned out to be incredibly good value for money. I was quite nervous before checking in, and even the hotel's facade made me a bit apprehensive, but in the end, it was a great experience. The room was clean and tidy, and not small at all. The environment was quiet, and the front desk staff, in particular, were very patient and helpful with all my questions. The hotel is also not far from Sham Shui Po MTR station, making it convenient to get around, and there are many food options nearby.

I booked this hotel blindly, and the price isn't comparable to what you'd find on the mainland. When I arrived, it was indeed tiny – the room was only about 10 square meters, and the bed just barely fit a person. But this is Hong Kong, where every inch is precious, so small is normal. The room makes excellent use of space; every corner is utilized perfectly. There's counter space for belongings, and enough hangers in the wardrobe. What's most commendable is that the bathroom isn't cramped, and the shower stall is a good size. The front desk staff were professional and polite, with a good attitude. Plus, they offer free luggage storage, which is convenient for shopping. The location is great, quiet yet central, so I rebooked this hotel for the next day.

GGuest UserExcellent stay! The front desk lady was incredibly helpful; she saw us with large luggage and proactively offered to assist. We even left a necklace behind when checking out, and she kindly left a note to remind us. The room was compact but well-equipped. Most importantly, the hotel's location is fantastic – a mere 200 meters from the subway station. Downstairs, the area is bustling with snack shops, a McDonald's, and local 'bing sutt' style cafes. The price is reasonable, and unlike some older tenement buildings, the hotel isn't rundown. The corridors were also quite clean and well-maintained. The only drawback is the lack of an elevator, but that was manageable. Overall, a very pleasant two-night stay. I would definitely choose this place again on my next visit because it's such great value for money, especially at just over HKD 300 per night during the August peak season. I genuinely recommend it to anyone on a budget!

GGuest UserI had a really pleasant stay at Rambler Oasis Hotel – it exceeded my expectations in many ways! The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a nice, relaxed vibe. My room was cozy, well-kept and came with a lovely view. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary tea – it was delicious and felt like a thoughtful little extra.
The location is very convenient, especially for getting from the airport – the transport links are straightforward and easy to use.
A couple of small notes: there was no complimentary bottled water in the room (which I would have appreciated), and no spoons for the tea but it wasn’t a big issue overall. Also, for European plugs you need to bring your own adapter or borrow one from reception (they provide it, so it’s not a big problem).
The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the hotel felt welcoming and great value for money. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay in Hong Kong. Thank you for a nice experience! 😊
SSuianbohutong7haoThis hotel offers great value for money, especially given its prime location in such an expensive area. It's also quite clean and even provides UK plug adapters, making it ideal for young backpackers with small luggage. However, if you have two or more large suitcases, or if you're over 1.8 meters tall, you might want to reconsider as the room is quite small. I had one large suitcase and felt a bit cramped by myself. Objectively speaking, I doubt you'd find a better option at the same price point in Hong Kong. The staff were also friendly and helpful towards mainland Chinese guests. Ultimately, it really depends on whether it suits your specific needs.
115loudelaoniuBooked this for the Hong Kong Marathon. In a word, it was very expensive! The air conditioner in the room made a lot of noise, and the engineer said it was a liquid cooling system and the water sound couldn't be adjusted. The noise kept me awake all night!
MMaogoushuangquandexiaoguniangFirst off, if you're taller than 175cm, I'd recommend staying elsewhere – the bed is too short.
**Facilities:** The facilities are quite old, but they have everything you need. The wallpaper is even taped up. I really wish they'd get rid of the bedding that looks like the one in picture four. I brought my own disposable duvet cover and sprayed it with disinfectant, but I still felt itchy, which never happens at other places. Plus, the bed is too short; I'm 174cm tall. Realistically, no one sleeps with their head completely at the headboard; it's always centered on the pillow. My feet were practically at the edge of the bed, sometimes even dangling off. And the mattress is so uncomfortable; after the first night, my entire back hurt, it felt like I hadn't slept at all, and I was so tired.
**Hygiene:** The hygiene is actually okay, considering the price. In fact, the lobby on the first floor is much nicer than the rooms; seeing the lobby, I didn't expect the rooms to be so run-down.
**Environment:** It's located inside a wet market, so it feels chaotic when you step out. There's also a strong smell from the meat stalls. However, since I was on a higher floor, I didn't really hear it once I was back in the hotel.
**Service:** Check-in was alright. It wasn't as good an experience as checking into other hotels.
Even though it's close to the subway and convenient for getting around, I probably won't choose this hotel again. During the off-season, I've stayed in much more comfortable places for the same price.

AAnonymous UserTsim Sha Tsui is still great for shopping and eating. There's a Mannings right by the MTR station for shopping, and a Kam Sau Tong Dynasty where you can buy fridge magnets and toy cars (cheaper and with more variety than other places). I even found a Mister Softee ice cream truck here (I missed it at the Ferris wheel because the line was too long). For food, there's Wah Sao Cafe (always super crowded), but I ended up at Kowloon Restaurant, which was delicious, affordable, and a great value.
The rooms here are generally small, with a 1.5-meter bed and not much extra space. It's manageable for one or two people. Card access to the upper floors feels quite secure. They provide wooden toothbrushes, a kettle, and disposable slippers (they're thin, not as good as those in hotels back home). You'll need to bring your own toiletries as nothing else is provided. On the upside, it's clean, close to the MTR, and safe. Overall, it's decent and worth considering if you don't have super high expectations.
Oh, and out of the three hotels I stayed at, this was the only one that required a HKD 500 cash deposit (or credit card). I only had HKD 400, so they accepted that, and it was promptly refunded upon check-out. All in all, it's above average and much better than many other options. If you're a solo traveler or a couple who doesn't mind a small space, it's a good choice.
GGuest UserLove the location and how clean the rooms are! Near restaurants and harbour. Walking around wont hurt as much cause the shops are nearby. Loved staying in TST and this hotel I definitely recommend especially for families or couples! Very spacious rooms, very clea and good location!
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit old, but it was probably a very popular and well-known hotel back in the day. Downstairs, there's a beach park and various indoor reptile exhibits, all free, which is great for kids. I'd say the room quality is just average, but the amenities are outstanding. The only thing I might complain about is the downstairs restaurant; perhaps they don't get many guests, but the breakfast was truly unappetizing. Everything else was fine. The front desk staff were very helpful, and they can arrange for a taxi to pick you up right downstairs if you need to go out. Overall, if you don't like the noisy, bustling city environment, this is definitely a great choice!!
