National Treasure: Oil Drop Tianmu Tea Bowl The oil drop Tianmu tea bowl in the collection is a rare porcelain from China, from the Jian kiln in Fujian. Oil Drop Tianmu is called oil drop in Japan because of its texture similar to the black and white spots on the chest of the local partridge bird in Jianyao, and it is also called oil drop in Japan, and is regarded as a "national treasure" by Japan. It is one of the many built cups brought to Japan during the Kamakura period. It is said to have been owned by Sekiba Toyotomi Hideyoshi (l568-1595) in the past, and later passed through Nishi Honganji, the Mitsui family in Kyoto, and the Wakasa Sakai family. Handed down to this day, there are three lacquer Tianmu tea tables from the Southern Song Dynasty as accessories.
