With its eight courtyards and nine levels, it was the residence and government affairs of the Guizhou Xuanwei Envoy, appointed by Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty. Here, the Xuanwei Envoy and his wife, Shexiang, began the glorious history of Shuixi's governance. Tickets are 20 yuan for adults, free for students and seniors.
