In early winter, the ginkgo trees in Dali Ancient City are quietly putting on a "gradient color feast." Golden yellow and emerald green intertwine on the branches, concealing the lingering charm of late autumn while revealing the brightness of winter, making the ginkgo viewing period seem even longer.

Yunxiang Mountain Chronicle: A Different Kind of Romance Hidden Between Mountains and Sea The wind, Dali's messenger, carries the dampness of Erhai Lake and the crisp air of Cangshan Mountain, leading us to Yunxiang Mountain. This hidden gem, known as "Dali's Little New Zealand," lacks the hustle and bustle of the ancient city, yet weaves a dream of freedom and poetry with its 270° panoramic views of the mountains and sea, its vast meadows, and its pure white buildings perched on cliffs. Climbing the steps, the first thing that catches the eye is the endless expanse of rooftop lawns. The tender green meadows spread out like a velvet carpet, with a solitary cypress tree standing alone at the far end, its branches swaying gently in the wind, as if telling a story of mountains and sea. Some people picnic under the tree, others run against the wind, their skirts and hair fluttering in the sunlight—every snapshot is a scene worthy of a movie. Not far away, the cliffside chapel, with its pure white triangular outline, seems to float between heaven and earth. At four or five in the afternoon, the sunlight filters through the glass curtain wall, casting Tyndall effect light that bathes the entire building in a sacred glow. No wonder it has become a sacred wedding venue for countless couples to capture their happiness. Traveling along the winding S-shaped road, with the mountain road twisting beneath your feet and the azure Erhai Lake and the staggered city skyline in the distance, you almost feel the romantic atmosphere of "La La Land." Reaching the viewing platform, gazing into the distance, the snow-capped peaks of the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain are clearly visible, and Erhai Lake is like a sapphire set in the earth. The bustling atmosphere of the ancient city and the grandeur of nature blend perfectly here. For those seeking a thrill, the non-motorized roller coaster at the Luji Theme Park is an excellent choice. On the 800-meter cliffside track, a 38-second high-speed plunge sends the wind whistling in your ears, while the most breathtaking mountain and water scenery flashes by. After skiing down to the foot of the mountain, take the cable car back to the summit. Overlooking the vast expanse of reeds and low shrubs, the cable car's cables, like harp strings, play a lively melody amidst the verdant forest. The Misty Mountain Cafe at the summit is a perfect place to unwind. Order a cup of Yunnan small-bean coffee and a slice of rose-flavored milk fan cake, sit on the third-floor observation deck, and let the mountain breeze caress your face. The ingeniously designed glass railings create a magical "floating Erhai Lake" effect when photographed from a low angle, perfectly capturing the relaxed vacation atmosphere. As sunset approaches, the sky gradually turns orange, and the evening glow gilds the clouds. The benches on the observation deck are filled with people chasing the light. As the last rays of sunlight sink into Cangshan Mountain, the city lights gradually illuminate, intertwining with the starlight over Erhai Lake, adding a touch of tranquility and romance to the night view of Misty Mountain. As we descended the mountain, looking back at this small town built into the hillside, the Bai ethnic minority houses with their blue tiles and white walls cascaded down the slope, perfectly blending the traditional "three courtyards and one screen wall" layout with modern design, making the buildings seem to have grown out of nature. Here, there is no deliberate embellishment, only a harmonious coexistence of nature and humanity, possessing both the vastness of New Zealand's wilderness and the unique romantic charm of Dali. The beauty of Yunxiang Mountain extends beyond the immediate scenery.

Jianchuan's tourism resources emphasize both historical culture and natural landscapes: Jianchuan Ancient City: Founded in the Yuan Dynasty, it retains a large number of Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings. Over 90% of the residences are in the Bai ethnic style, featuring the "three courtyards and one screen wall" or "four courtyards and five patios" layout. The ancient building complex on Ximen Street is a national key cultural relics protection unit. Visitors can stroll along the bluestone alleys and experience intangible cultural heritage such as the worship of local deities and Jianchuan wood carving. Shibaoshan Scenic Area: Famous for its Danxia landforms and grotto art, the Shibaoshan Grottoes are hailed as "Southern Treasures," masterpieces of carving from the Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms periods. Every year from February to August in the lunar calendar, the Shibaoshan Song Festival is held here, where visitors can listen to Bai folk songs and experience traditional festivals. Shaxi Ancient Town: A well-preserved market town on the Ancient Tea Horse Road, with attractions such as Sideng Street, the Sifang Street Ancient Stage, and Yujin Bridge exuding a rustic charm. We recommend taking a stroll across Yujin Bridge at dusk to enjoy a panoramic sunset. Qianshi Mountain: Named for its more than 3,000 stone lion sculptures, visitors can climb the mountain to admire the uniquely shaped lions and experience the tranquil mountain forest praised by Xu Xiake. Jian Lake: A highland wetland, it is a habitat for black-necked cranes in winter. Cycling around the lake or camping offers a chance to enjoy natural peace and quiet.

Here is a sense of the after-sight tour of the Xingsheng Bridge: The beauty of the building is shocking. At first sight of the Xingsheng Bridge, it was attracted by its majestic splendor. The bridge is white as snow, and the 235-meter-long bridge spans the Xiqiao River. The five-span arch structure is like a dragon flying above the lake. The four towers and two arch bridges are perfectly combined, both elegant and romantic European architecture, and also incorporate the carved flowers and totems of Bai nationality characteristics. Closer to take a closer look, the pier imitates the three towers of Chongsheng Temple, and the bridge rail is inlaid with auspicious golden-winged Dapeng bird relief, the details show the heritage of Bai civilization. The natural scenery is picturesque and strolling on the Xingsheng Bridge, as if in a natural picture. The mountains of Cangshan in the distance stand tall, and the snow on the top of the mountain shines in the sun, like a silver-clad fairy. The Bohai Sea nearby is shining, the lake is crystal clear, and the breeze blows, and the layers are rippling. The sky is blue like a gem, and the white clouds float in the air like marshmallows, and the bridge and lake are against each other, forming a beautiful picture. The humanistic atmosphere is strong and warm. The Xingsheng Bridge is not only a building, but also a part of the life of Dali people. Here you can see locals strolling, chatting, fishing, and children playing by the bridge, full of life. In winter, Siberian red-billed lizards will come here for the winter, they fly on the lake, foraging, and interacting intimately with tourists, forming a unique landscape, but also adding a vitality and vitality to the bridge. The Xingsheng Bridge is a very popular online celebrity check-in point, whether you are a professional photographer or an ordinary tourist, you can take satisfactory photos here. In the early morning or evening, soft light is spilled on the bridge, and a layer of gold gauze is covered in the bridge. At this time, the light effect is excellent. You can stand on the bridge and take personal photos or family photos with the background of Cangshan and Bohai Sea. You can also find angles under the bridge, use railings and seats to take the bridge as a vision, and shoot a large film with European style.

The annual March Street is attended by people from all directions. People of all ethnic groups sing together, race horses, sing songs and do business. Due to the need for epidemic prevention and control, Dali's traditional March Street has been suspended for three years. Only a few sparse stalls, a few handicraft shops, tea shops and herbal medicine shops are still in operation.

The Bai-style Dali Imperial Garden has unique architecture and scenery. The Cuihua Tower, which is backed by Cangshan Mountain, is majestic, and the wooden Yinhe Bridge is even more amazing! It is adjacent to the ancient city, but there are few tourists except for a few groups taking wedding photos... The scenery is beautiful, there are few people, it's awesome!
