Anonymous userI've been dreaming of visiting Huangshan for half my life, and it finally happened! 😇😇 Before we went up the mountain, my daughter asked if we wanted to take the cable car. I told her that they've already built the path for us, so why not take it? Besides, the scenery up the mountain is amazing (we went towards Yuping, and all the scenery of Huangshan is from this direction). You can't see the good scenery by taking the cable car. 😊 It was really tiring at the beginning. When we got to Crescent Pavilion, I bought hiking poles for my daughter. She said she could walk like the wind now. 😁😁 But actually, we only walked 1/5 of the way. The scenery along the way was beautiful, and the weather was perfect for hiking. I feel so lucky! 🙏🙏 My daughter wore a down jacket that went past her knees because she heard that Huangshan had its first snowfall of the winter the day before yesterday. As a result, she got unbearably hot after less than 10 minutes of hiking, so I carried her down jacket the whole way. 💪 When we reached the fork in the road at Tiandu Peak and looked up at Tiandu Peak, I felt like I might never make it to the top. The mountain trail looked to be about 90 degrees Celsius. We were almost "out of breath" after walking up from the foot of the mountain. 🤪🤪 We still had about 2/5 of the way to the Welcoming Pine. We continued towards the Welcoming Pine and noticed the crowds were increasing. I guessed it was people who had taken the cable car up the mountain heading back down. The descent was no easier than the ascent; we saw people's legs shaking quite a bit as we walked down! 😅😅 Finally, we reached the Welcoming Pine! Wow! 😱😱 So many people! I squeezed through the crowd to take a picture of the pine before quickly taking the cable car down with my daughter. As expected, you can't see any scenery from the cable car. I'm so glad we walked up; at least we imprinted the beautiful views in our minds! 😍😍😍
4.5/5Anonymous user🌿Hongcun is truly breathtaking! 🏡The winding cobblestone paths and the white walls and black tiles reflected in the clear water make it feel like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. 📸Every step is like a scene from a movie, every snapshot a masterpiece. 📷 The guesthouse owner was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was authentic. 🍜 After a day of exploring with family, all fatigue vanished, and we just wanted to stay another night. 🌙 👏An exceptional experience, highly recommended! 👍👍

我有📷⌨️你有啥The Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area has been improving its services year by year. It's getting better and better. As a Buddhist, and considering it's a sacred site for Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, I still recommend visiting to pay homage if you can afford it. There are free shuttle buses from the high-speed rail station. Then, go to the visitor center to transfer to the scenic area bus. It costs 50 yuan round trip. Honestly, this is quite good. The entire scenic area has a rather strong commercial atmosphere, but it's acceptable.

139***31The staff at the entrance were very welcoming. The ancient village streets were clean and tidy, with a rustic and tranquil environment. Faded couplets, colorful lanterns, and a strong sense of community filled the air. Fields were right next to the village, and elderly people were basking in the sun and chatting on stone benches. There was a huge scarecrow in the fields… It's definitely worth a visit.

M18***55For children raised in Midwestern cities, the scenery of Chengkan Village might not be as breathtaking. The fish lanterns at night are quite attractive, with fun activities like inviting tourists to participate in holding them. Management is a bit chaotic, but still within acceptable limits. The local elderly guides in Chengkan Village are highly recommended. The elderly couple at the breakfast shop outside the North Gate will greet you with smiles and say "Enjoy your meal, take care." The kindness of strangers during your travels is a wonderful reward.

If you want to buy the entrance ticket and cable car ticket together, you can book in advance on Xianyu (a second-hand marketplace). It's 139 yuan including the entrance ticket and round-trip cable car ticket, which is quite a good deal.
84.1/5Anonymous userHaving long admired Huizhou Ancient City since Nanjing, I finally made it! 😊 I was a little worried it would be the kind of tourist trap that's all hype, but from the moment I stepped off the high-speed train, Shexian County was surprisingly clean and refreshing. 👍 I strolled around the ancient city that evening; it wasn't crowded, which I liked. Wandering through the alleys, I felt the true essence of the ancient city emerge. ❤️ The next day, I slept in until I naturally woke up; the weather was fantastic! ☀️ The ancient city has a different feel during the day. Every shop displays its own flag, especially in the alleys, which have a unique charm. Remember to look back as you leave—you'll always find a delightful surprise! 😁😁 Remember to make a reservation for the Huizhou History Museum. Entry is easy—just tap your phone to enter! 👍👍 The museum is small but truly excellent. I recommend visiting the museum first, then exploring the ancient city!

The cable car's middle station leads directly to the waterfall group, and the downhill road is well-maintained; it's about a half-hour walk to the scenic area's bus stop. You can take the scenic area bus to Baima Grand Canyon and then walk downhill for about 1.5 hours, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. The ticket allows for two entries; those with good stamina can enter the park a second day to climb the main peak.

The host was highly skilled, humorous, and possessed various talents, which was a huge plus and added a wonderful atmosphere to the bonfire party. It was a truly relaxing experience, and if you're in good physical condition, the night view is definitely worth a hike! A very enjoyable trip, I'd love to come again.
