It took two days to travel from Urad Rear Banner to Zhong Banner, and then to Qian Banner. Along the way, we went from agricultural civilization to nomadic culture, from thousands of acres of sunflowers to the endless grassland, and then to the rocky Gobi Desert in Ganqimaodu. The scenery along the way was picturesque and the styles were very different. It was worth the trip.
