The Qixing Lake Desert Ecological Zone is really fun! When I got there, the continuous dunes were like golden waves, which was spectacular. I first experienced the exciting desert cross-country. The car galloped between the dunes, dived for a while and climbed for a while. My heartbeat was almost bursting. Then ride a camel slowly and sit on the camel's back, feeling that time has slowed down. In the evening, watching the sunset on the bank of Qixing Lake, the afterglow spilled on the body, warm, I was stunned at that moment, I really strongly recommend everyone to feel it!
The specific location of the lone tree and sand dunes is at the westernmost part of the entire scenic area. After entering the road, pay attention to the right hand side. If you look carefully, you can directly see the lone tree. There will be a road with ruts to enter, but non-off-road vehicles should not enter because there is a short sandy road. When we went there, a car got stuck there and had to be towed. Non-off-road vehicles can only park on the side of the road and walk more than a kilometer to enter. Swan Lake is beautiful to watch the sunset.

A massively underrated natural wonder in the hinterlands, which is refreshingly peaceful and calm even during the May holidays. I was alone for two hours in the morning before the first tourist groups appeared. The red rock formations are absolutely stunning, leaving even the seasoned traveller gasping at some places. Wonder why not five stars? Well, the management of this place (or whoever is responsible for destroying it) is shocking. I passionately dislike all the “improvements” of natural beauty that someone thinks is a great idea, but this place beats most on that sense. I don’t know who had the idea of building concrete fake formations among the real ones, but that person deserves something really serious… The iconic image of the park, the so called “PhD forum” is nothing else than a fake concrete structure. Honestly it’s a shame. People please don’t destroy the beauty
The scenic area isn't very big; you can see it all in about two hours. On the way, we encountered a car that got stuck in the sand. Luckily, I had a traction board with me and helped it out. I especially want to remind two-wheel drive vehicles not to go off the road when the sand is loose!

The price/performance ratio is very high. I played several projects. The key is that there are few people and no need to queue. The motorcycle is super exciting. A single person can consider the 388 package, which includes all the projects. It is recommended for pure play. There is no place to eat. Fortunately, we brought instant noodles with us.
Camel riding + shuttle bus + sandboarding + off-road motorcycle, the package is cost-effective and exciting. Remember to experience it before 17:30 in the afternoon, as it will be off work at 17:30

For those who have never played or like desert projects, this place is still good, and there are few people, and you won't have to wait for any project. But the project is still relatively expensive, and there is no place to eat in the entire scenic area, you can only buy water.
The grandeur of Wuhai, the beauty of Wuhai, the boldness of Wuhai, the breadth of Wuhai. Coming here, you can truly experience the grandeur. As the popular saying goes, come to the desert to see the sea, the magnanimity of the grassland and the desert, an experience without regrets and worries.

I took relatives from out of town there. It's about a two-hour drive from Yinchuan, and the entire trip, including sightseeing and taking photos, took almost five hours. You need to check the weather forecast a day in advance to decide when to go. The scenery at Wuhai Lake was beautiful, and we ate some local delicacies—everyone thought it was wonderful!
"The Train of Spring" [Verse 1] The train passes by Wuhai Lake, the lights at Pier 1 are still on. The evening breeze of Ulan Buh cannot blow away yesterday's face. Whose profile is reflected in the train window, like a spring hidden in the desert? I hear the song drifting into the distance, passing through sand dunes and wheat fields. [Chorus] This is the train of spring, carrying unfinished letters. The night in Ulan Buh, starlight sprinkles on the strings. The song at Pier 1 sings of meeting and parting. Crossing this desert, I can see the spring in your eyes. [Verse 2] At the end of the desert, the Yellow River bends, migratory birds fly across the sky of Alashan. The train whistle awakens the sleeping sand swallows. Some say spring is too short, like the blooming and fading of flowers in the desert. But when you softly hum that song, even the wind becomes gentler. [Chorus] This is the train of spring, carrying unfinished letters. The night in Ulan Buh, starlight sprinkles on the strings. The song at Pier 1... Singing of meeting and goodbye Crossing this desert, I'll see spring in your eyes [Interlude] If the desert forgets to bloom, if the train never reaches its destination At least Ulan Buh remembers how far the song traveled that night The waters of Wuhai Lake reflect the moon's profile The train of spring carries away winter's longing [Outro] The train passes by Wuhai Lake, the song lingers at Pier No. 1 Under the night sky of Ulan Buh, someone softly says, Spring is not far away

Although the grass on the grassland wasn't quite green yet in May, the performances at the scenic area were excellent, especially the hero performance. However, one thing I have to mention is that you can enter without buying a ticket and just follow their official WeChat account, and even sit with those who bought tickets. I really don't understand. There are many things to do inside the grassland, the route is well-planned, and several performances are very entertaining.
The grassland scenery is absolutely stunning! It's so beautiful! We lingered there, reluctant to leave! There's just so much to see! The package ticket was a great deal; the kids got to do all the rides the two adults didn't want to do – it was a really good value!

Manbala Monk Temple is located in Lasengmiao Town, Hainan District, Wuhai City. Manbala Monk Temple, located on Tuhai Mountain in Lasengmiao Town, Hainan District, Wuhai City, was built by the first Xiazhong Living Buddha Gongqige Aribuzhai in the 43rd year of Qianlong (1778 AD), and has a history of 234 years. It mainly runs "Manbala Lun" (a place for training Mongolian medicine), and its shape is similar to some temples in Tibet. The sutras that lamas have to recite are divided into four parts: Shadel Sutra (pathology), Madezhuma Sutra (pharmacology), Ximazhude Sutra (diagnosis and medical methods) and Medical Point Essentials (basic theory), collectively known as the "Four Collections".
La Seng Temple (Manbala Seng Temple) is located in Hainan District, Wuhai City. It is a national AAA-level scenic spot and provincial cultural relic, adjacent to Tuhaishan Tourist Area. Manbala Seng Temple is a Tibetan language, meaning "Medical Prescription and Sutra Institute". It is a hall dedicated to the study of Tibetan and Mongolian medicine and religion. In its heyday, there were more than 600 monks and lamas living in the temple. It was the earliest religious medical holy place in western Inner Mongolia at that time. It was first built in the 21st year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1682) and destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. It was rebuilt in 2007. According to legend, when Emperor Kangxi went west for a private visit, he stayed in La Seng Temple for several days. The architectural style of La Seng Temple not only integrates the artistic styles of Tibetan, Mongolian and Han nationalities, but also reflects the taste of local culture and art, making visitors feel like they are in heaven. There are several dragon columns in the main hall of the temple to support the beams, and the giant columns are painted with dragons flying in the mist. There are five statues of gods on the front of the main hall, and Sakyamuni sits in the middle. In front of the statue, there is an offering table and an incense burner, with smoke lingering and the Buddha lamp always on. The two walls of the lobby are painted with many scenes from Buddhist stories, which are colorful and lifelike. Especially the paintings and murals of Sakyamuni preaching to his disciples and the gods around him listening quietly, the images are lifelike and amazing. Strategy: Seasonal cost: June-early October. Free. Transportation and accommodation: More than 30 kilometers away from the center of Wuhai City, with excellent roads. The desolate area around the scenic spot is basically driven by car. Scenery: The whole tour takes about 40 minutes. The temple is located halfway up Tuhai Mountain. The parking lot is next to the gate of the scenic spot and can be walked in. The mountains in the north are more majestic and vicissitudes, with no vegetation, no water, and strong winds. You can bring some thick clothes. Many buildings basically reflect the original style, but even after the National Day, the halls are basically closed, perhaps because of the epidemic. Only the side door of the main hall is open. Unlike the temples in the Central Plains and the South, the five- or six-story-high Buddha statue in the main hall is basically the same height as the building, but there is no lobby, so you can only look up at your feet. There are stairs around, but no access is allowed. Equipment: hiking shoes, jacket.

Baotou Museum is actually a national-level museum, which I did not expect, the treasure of the town hall is the blue and white porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty, there are 4 regular exhibition halls, of which 3 are exhibits from the Stone Age to the founding of New China, and the other is Baotou Folk Culture Exhibition Hall. After the Spring Festival, the typing set up in front of the door is more interesting, package you good luck.
As a native of Baotou, I have visited many museums in China and abroad. This is my first time to visit the Baotou Museum in my hometown. I didn't expect that the Baotou Art Museum and the Baotou Museum are neighbors on the upper and lower floors. I was not physically strong today. After seeing the Picasso exhibition, I felt that I couldn't walk anymore. I only visited the Contemporary Exhibition Hall and the Thangka Exhibition (I didn't look at them in detail).

The park isn't large; you can walk around in about two hours at a leisurely pace. The main attraction is the display of military equipment, all of which are real and can be handled up close. There's a VR project within the park, which I think is one of the better VR experiences offered in tourist attractions in recent years; FPS games are still far superior. The "tank" driving simulators in the park are actually miniature vehicles designed for children, but there are real ones too, though not in this area, but in the "Military Experience Base" diagonally across the path. While most of the equipment is accessible by standing on, there are some tanks and trains that are clearly marked "Do Not Climb," yet I still saw many children climbing on them. I hope everyone will be mindful of safety and avoid the risk of falls.
You absolutely must visit this place during summer vacation. The tickets aren't expensive either. A sense of national pride and patriotism should be cultivated in children from a young age. Inside, you can see the fighter planes our ancestors used to fight; that's the road we came from.

Not as good as the scenery of Chunhui Mountain a little farther from the city, but the city is really convenient. Also note that there was a road that people stepped out of, and there was a grassland scenic spot written next to it. I thought I could get to the farthest road. As a result, the grass became deeper and the same as people. The same high, and the original road turned back... (Figure 3, please note)
Can you imagine seeing beautiful grasslands in a city? Then come to Baotou. Baotou is a heavy industrial city, but you may not know that there is a very beautiful grassland in the middle of the east and west sides of Baotou. The locals use it as a fitness trail, and outsiders use it as a tourist attraction.
