The scholar said that tour guide Li Donghua's explanations were excellent, earning him the title of "living encyclopedia of the Forbidden City"! From the symbolic meanings of the ten immortal figures and beasts in the Hall of Supreme Harmony, to the gilding craftsmanship of the bronze vat at the Qianqing Gate, and the story behind the "three-layer paving and five-layer oiling" method for floor tiles, every detail was explained thoroughly and vividly. What was originally a cursory visit to the architecture instantly transformed into a tangible history experience. The tour guide's narration was very engaging, and the three-hour listening session was quite relaxing.
The scholar said that Director Deng was professional and enthusiastic, and although he worked very hard throughout the trip, he did a very meticulous job, allowing me to appreciate the profound history and the marks of time in the Forbidden City, making this trip to the Forbidden City complete and meaningful. I would also recommend such an excellent Director Deng as a casual guide for my other companions.

"He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man," goes the saying. It's a great patriotic education destination for families, especially during the crisp autumn season. Transportation is convenient, and facilities are comprehensive. For families with children, I recommend taking the cable car and then walking to the watchtower.
Badaling great wall has an easy transportation route for solo backpacker. The sunset view really nice.

The Christmas atmosphere was amazing 🎄, it was the happiest place ever! 😘😘😘 It's just a little unlucky that I didn't get the big plush toy 🍀 Hopefully, I'll bring my kids next time so we can get the Minion ball-throwing plush toy! 🧸
We brought our kids here, and arrived around 8 am to queue. We were among the first to enter the park when it opened at 9 am. Once inside, we rushed straight into Jurassic Park. We went on all the rides, big and small, at Universal Studios, some of them multiple times. It's a great place to bring kids.

I took a bus to Zhongtianmen, then took the cable car directly to Nantianmen, saving a lot of energy. There were tickets for the mountain shuttle bus at the foot of the mountain, claiming they could drive you to Nantianmen. I don't understand; I guess cars aren't allowed to go to Nantianmen.
Mount Tai is incredibly beautiful, with a rich cultural heritage and unique scenery. Hiking up from Zhongtianmen and taking the cable car down from Nantianmen is a very easy hike, and the cable car offers stunning views of the mountainside.

Xiucai Shuo (a popular online forum) recommends Jiang Shangyi's professional and engaging explanations, which helped us rediscover history and learn about ancient architecture. Her explanations were like a warm winter sun, making the trip worthwhile. Highly recommended!
My visit to Prince Gong's Mansion in Beijing was truly unforgettable and well worth the trip. Stepping into the mansion felt like stepping back in time to the Qing Dynasty; every building and every detail exuded a rich historical charm. The mansion's three-section, five-courtyard layout was meticulously planned. The Yin'an Hall in the central section was solemn and dignified, with the nine ridge beasts on its roof highlighting the owner's noble status. Buildings such as the Duofu Pavilion in the east section and the Baoguang Room in the west section featured exquisite wood carvings and painted beams, showcasing an extremely high level of craftsmanship. The garden was even more stunning. Cuijin Garden cleverly used the "framed view" technique, framing the clear waters of Shichahai Lake within the courtyard walls, creating an atmosphere like a fairyland. The pavilions, terraces, rockeries, and ponds within the garden were arranged in a harmonious and orderly manner, with winding paths leading to secluded spots that displayed the graceful beauty of Jiangnan gardens. Every step revealed a new and breathtaking view.

Visiting Baotu Spring again; it's been a long time since my last visit. The last time was in 2004. More than 20 years have passed. Bringing my child and parents to revisit. Baotu Spring seems less like a tourist attraction and more like a vessel for a period of time. It holds profound significance. Coming to Jinan again, it felt great. The appearance hasn't changed, but the people around me have. The scenery remains the same. Wishing it continued success.
I thought I'd just buy a ticket, wander around for a bit, and then come out, but once I was inside, I didn't want to leave. I really wanted to stay here. The garden is huge; you need half a day to see everything. It's best not to go with a tour group. Just exploring the bamboo forest alone takes half a day. It doesn't feel like the north; it has a bit of a southern Chinese feel to it.

Magnificent place.. very windy hence it is hard to mingle long in this area but it is nice place..
1. Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests Highlights: The iconic building of the Temple of Heaven, the site of imperial sacrifices during the Ming Dynasty. A three-story circular hall with blue tiles and a golden roof, its 28 golden pillars symbolize the four seasons, months, and hours. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests closes at 6 PM and can only be viewed from outside the palace walls. The red wall behind the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (vermilion door frame paired with a blue roof) Fun Fact: The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests has no horizontal beams; it is entirely supported by mortise and tenon joints, showcasing the wisdom of ancient architecture. 2. Echo Wall and Imperial Vault of Heaven Echo Wall: The wall has a regular curve and a smooth surface. Two people whispering against the wall could transmit their voices (now fenced off, conversations at ground markers still work). Three-Echo Stone: Speaking while standing on the stone slabs in front of the hall will produce 1-3 echoes, experiencing the wonder of acoustics. How to Play: Stand at opposite ends of the wall with a companion to test the sound transmission effect, or count the fan-shaped stone slabs on the altar surface (all are multiples of 9, subtly alluding to the "supreme ruler"). 3. Circular Mound Altar Highlight: The core site of the emperor's sacrificial ceremony to Heaven. The central stone, where a shout is made, produces an extremely loud echo (anciently known as the "Sound Connecting Heaven"). Hidden Activity: At noon on the winter solstice, the sunlight precisely penetrates all the railings, showcasing ancient astronomical wisdom. 4. Danbi Bridge Highlight: The "Sea-Paved Avenue" connecting the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar, 360 meters long and 30 meters wide, symbolizing "heaven is high and earth is low." 5. Fasting Palace and Divine Music Bureau Fasting Palace: The "mini Forbidden City" where the emperor resided before sacrificial rites. With red walls and green pines and cypresses, it is free to enter and offers beautiful scenery with few crowds. Divine Music Bureau: The ancient venue for rehearsing sacrificial music, offering insights into ancient musical culture.

Beijingers are truly blessed to have such a beautiful, world-class royal park, a cultural heritage site, allowing them to fully enjoy life. What a wonderful moment this is! Am I right, Beijingers? Wang Anshi (Song Dynasty): "Several plum blossoms by the corner of the wall, blooming alone in the cold. From afar, I know it's not snow, for there is a faint fragrance." Lu You: "I heard that plum blossoms bloom in the morning breeze, snow piled up all over the mountains. How can I transform myself into billions, one plum blossom for each Lu You?" Wang Wei (Tang Dynasty): "I have seen the winter plum blossoms, and heard the birds singing. My heart looks at the spring grass, fearing it will grow on the jade steps." Remembering the Plum Blossom (Tang Dynasty): "Firmly dwelling at the ends of the earth, lingering towards the beauty of nature. The winter plum is most hateful, always blooming like last year's flower." Reading Li Shangyin's "always blooming like last year's flower," we seem to be the winter plum blossoms we saw in the Summer Palace last year. The flowers haven't changed, but people grow old. The laws of nature are limited, only for people, not for plants, and certainly not for the winter plum blossoms, because the winter plum blossoms are immortal…
- The scenery is absolutely stunning: the shimmering waves of Kunming Lake paired with the pavilions of Longevity Hill, especially the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, is breathtakingly beautiful at sunset when the golden light shines through the arches. Every shot is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese style. 📸 - A tip for exploring: It's recommended to enter from the East Palace Gate (closer to the main attractions). Don't try to see everything at once! Focus on the Long Corridor, the Tower of Buddhist Incense, and the Marble Boat area, otherwise your legs will "protest." - A small reminder: It gets really crowded on weekends. If you want to take some quiet photos, either go early or walk towards the West Causeway for a different kind of tranquil lake view. - Summary: The grandeur of a royal garden combined with the delicacy of a Jiangnan garden makes even a casual stroll and a gentle breeze a truly relaxing experience. It's a must-see "healing" attraction in Beijing!

This chartered car tour was an absolute gem! The driver arrived at the agreed-upon location 10 minutes early, the car was spotless and odorless, the seats were spacious and comfortable, and even charging ports and complimentary bottled water were provided. His driving skills were superb; he handled mountain roads and highways smoothly and steadily, even proactively avoiding congested areas. Throughout the trip, he patiently explained the local customs and culture, recommending authentic and affordable hidden gem restaurants. He completely respected our pace, allowing ample time at attractions, and there was absolutely no hard selling – he was as considerate as a friend. The pick-up and drop-off process was simple and convenient, and the pricing was transparent with no hidden fees. I'll definitely choose this company again next time!
Visiting the Great Wall of China at the Mutianyu entrance was an amazing experience. The area is well-organised, easy to navigate, and offers stunning scenery from the moment you arrive. We explored both the east and west sides, and each offered its own unique perspective and breathtaking views of the Wall stretching across the mountains. The Mutianyu section is beautifully restored yet still maintains its historic charm. It’s less crowded compared to other entrances, which made the walk much more enjoyable and peaceful.Overall, an unforgettable visit - highly recommended for anyone planning to see the Great Wall!

The scenery is nice and the bus is very convenient, good reviews! But the consumption level in the scenic area is a bit high, especially in some farmhouse restaurants, where two people can eat more than 100 yuan, while other places in the mountains only cost dozens of yuan.
The tour is very nice and I visited many temple which is very peaceful. The guide is also polite and helpful.
