A must-see for tour groups, and always the most anticipated stop on my trips. I absolutely love this small tourist town with a population of less than 200,000.
P1-P5: Shishi Ice Room. Located inside the Shazhou Night Market, you need to pass through a bookstore to enter this quiet bar. Compared to the bustling crowds of the night market, the bar is very peaceful. It mainly serves Chinese-style cocktails, named after dynasties. Of the 11 dynasties Dunhuang has witnessed, I first encountered Northern Liang, Northern Wei, Northern Zhou, Song, and Sui.
P6: Dunhuang Seal Printing Bureau. A very large shop selling Dunhuang-related items, encompassing handicrafts, cultural and creative products, and a coffee shop. Especially noteworthy is their mural copying service, using various mineral dyes for an immersive experience, perfect for family activities. This drink is from the coffee shop on the first floor, called… Rice Noodles. I forgot the full name, only remembering the two characters "Rice Noodles"! I have absolutely no resistance to any rice noodle or fermented rice wine. It was delicious, with some osmanthus petals added; one sip and the sweet aroma filled the air.

This quiet bar is very peaceful and peaceful. Pages 7-11, "Su Subar," is located near the middle exit of the Mingsha Mountain Scenic Area, about a 7-8 minute walk away. This place also operates as a unique guesthouse. The first time I went, I ordered the "Zombie" coffee and fell in love with it! After that, I just let the owner make whatever they wanted. The drinks were good, but the coffee was terrible—a stylist who's all bark and no bite.
Page 12, "Time Box Cafe," is an old-established cafe in Dunhuang. I have to give you a rundown of the coffee here—it was awful! I don't know if there was a problem with the extraction, but it had a burnt, bitter taste. I left before finishing it 😭
