Police officers and seniors over 60 get in free; I only bought children's tickets. After buying the tickets, I only needed to swipe my ID card to enter, which was very convenient. There are many ancient buildings inside, which are quite beautiful.
Three national treasure buildings 👍🏻: The Holy Mother Hall is a precious architectural masterpiece from the Northern Song Dynasty, the Fish Pond Flying Bridge is a cross-shaped ancient bridge, and the Offering Hall is a Jin Dynasty building. The Zhou Cypress, which is over 3,000 years old, along with the Nanlao Spring and the Maiden Statues, are known as the "Three Wonders of Jinci".

Police officers and seniors over 60 get in for free; we only bought children's tickets. After buying the tickets, we just needed to swipe our ID cards to enter, which was very convenient. It got cold, too windy, and too cold, so we didn't go far and went back.
Yanmen Pass is definitely worth a visit. I visited the Badaling Great Wall many years ago, and the experience was different. The day I went, the fog was quite thick, so visibility was limited. Also, I arrived rather late, so I didn't explore too far, but the early winter scenery was still beautiful. The difficulty of the climb further highlights the hardships endured by the ancient soldiers, and it makes one marvel at the wisdom of the ancients in building this magnificent pass.

It's alright. The Taiyuan Botanical Garden is quite well-built and large. You need to take a shuttle bus, and parking is convenient. The lights are even more beautiful at night.
Early winter was the perfect time to visit; the temperature was just right, and there wasn't an unbearable temperature difference between indoors and outdoors. I was very satisfied! The orchids were fantastic, and the cacti were large and adorable. I loved them.

Baoquan Tourist Area is a hidden gem. It's not very famous, but the scenery is absolutely stunning. It's suitable not only for young people looking for thrills but also for middle-aged and elderly people looking to enjoy the sights. It's a perfect attraction.
Buying a ticket to Cliff World also grants access to the Grand Canyon, making the ticket well worth it. There are many attractions inside, allowing you to explore at your own pace. The scenery is beautiful, and the staff are incredibly welcoming, greeting you along the way. I visited in winter, and each season offers a different kind of beauty. Highly recommended!

It's currently the off-season for tourism, and the Prince Dai's Mansion is offering a three-day unlimited entry health check. A one-zhang (approximately 3.3 meters) ticket was valid for two nights. The evening performances are highly recommended; the dance performances and folk costume displays are excellent. The iron-smelting performance, in particular, is a breathtaking experience, allowing visitors to witness this intangible cultural heritage firsthand. It's beautiful, vibrant, and captivating. 👍👍👍
I went there to see the sparks; seeing them live was amazing, especially since it was my first time! 🥰 I explored the place during the day first, and there was a lady offering free guided tours, which were fantastic. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. 👍

A combined ticket includes free shuttle bus rides to three locations; otherwise, you'll need to find your way there yourself or purchase a separate shuttle bus ticket. The museum and palace/temple ruins are relatively convenient, but the royal tombs are a bit far. The museum is open until 8 PM, and you can also buy evening tickets; it's less crowded and the experience is excellent. Bus route 11 is right outside, providing direct access to the high-speed rail, which is super convenient.
(The old Yinxu Museum, which I had visited before, was a revisit.) The new Yinxu Museum, located on the banks of the Huan River in Anyang City, Henan Province, faces the Yinxu Palace and Temple Ruins across the river. It covers an area of 51,000 square meters. The new museum focuses on the theme of "The Great Shang Civilization." Exhibition Layout: 1. Basic Exhibitions: First Floor: "Exploring Shang Civilization" Showcasing the development of Shang civilization. Second Floor: "The Great Shang Civilization" Displaying political, military, and handicraft achievements. Third Floor: "Shang Civilization in the World" Explaining its international influence. 2. Special Exhibitions: Including: "Yinxu Chariot and Horse Relics Exhibition" (exhibiting 23 chariots) "Where Did the Chief Come From? - Special Exhibition on the Tomb of the Chief," etc. Nearly 4,000 sets of artifacts, including bronzes, pottery, jade, and oracle bones, are on display. Notable cultural relics: Tunnan oracle bones, Shang Dynasty Simuxin Ding (a bronze vessel), "Yachang" ox-shaped zun (a type of bronze vessel), dragon-shaped jade ring, inscribed divination bones, etc. Currently a major national thematic museum. ------------------------ Opening hours: 8:30—17:30 Ticket price: 80 yuan. Transportation information: (For reference) By bus: From Anyang city: Take bus routes 18, 11, 1, or 14. Then begin your visit. By car: Navigation location: Yinxu Museum New Building Parking Lot.

The Huangcheng Xiangfu has a performance called "Weeping Time". The mansion is quite large and impressive, with exquisite architecture and well-organized rooms. However, the ticket center is located far from the attraction, which is to cater to the business of the tourist attractions!
I recommend going in as soon as it opens at 8:00 AM – there will be fewer tourists then. You can finish exploring in a little over an hour and then return to the entrance to secure a good spot. Tour groups will gradually gather here before the 10:00 AM performance starts, and they will then converge into the Huangcheng Xiangfu after the performance ends in about ten minutes!

Perhaps because of the rain, there weren't many people. It's a small ancient town with almost no interactive activities. There were only a few shows, which weren't as good as the online reviews suggested. The food at the small shops was expensive and mediocre. More importantly, while it's a half-hour taxi ride there, it took ages to get back. I finally managed to get a shared ride, but they wouldn't even charge extra. Transportation is inconvenient. The 98 yuan entrance fee only covered the night view.
I love this place so much! I haven't had enough fun this time. The ancient buildings and museums are amazing. I learned a lot and experienced the life of the Republic of China... There are also various snacks and treasures.

I'd always heard from my family that we migrated from under the Big Locust Tree. Today, I took my parents back to the Big Locust Tree, learned about the migration story, and watched the Big Locust Tree migration performance recommended by our guide. It was truly amazing! We even found out our own surname. The guide's explanations were very unique, and we also learned about the local customs and traditions. The service was excellent too. It was a really great experience! 😊
The Hongtong Big Pagoda Tree carries the stories of our ancestors and is the root and soul of tens of thousands of people in this hometown. The scenery is beautiful, the historical atmosphere is rich, and there are free performances within the scenic area, making it well worth a visit. I heard there's a grand sacrificial ceremony every year, but I unfortunately missed it.

There is a manual explanation, the fee is 50, you can see the exhibition on the ground and go underground to visit the mining process, the cost-effectiveness is high, you can learn about coal mines, it is worth recommending! ! ! ! !
Shanxi, a major coal-producing province, has a dedicated museum, which is great, but it feels a bit underwhelming. The museum looks like it's preparing for a commercial trade show, making it bustling. The entrance has been pushed to the side, which I found a bit strange. After entering, I asked for a tour guide, and the professionalism was quite good. The guide was good. There's also an elevator that goes down to the mines, and the exhibits on coal mining from ancient times to the present day are quite good. It fully satisfied my curiosity. The exhibition halls offer detailed information on coal types, and there are also coal-based artifacts that I found quite novel. Overall, I feel like there's room for further exploration of coal. After the tour of the coal process, the museum transitioned to a special topic on Shanxi murals, which felt like a crossover and a bit overwhelming.
